Slightly old news, but PokeBank has come back on for the JP 3DS. I've already downloaded it, but I haven't used it yet. Busy with other games...

Apparently Nintendo extended the free trial period to 27th February and there's a rumor that pokebank will be released on 31st January for US and Europe, anyone with more information?

Stopped playing XY completely since pokebank got delayed, killed all my motivation.

I admit, it killed mine too. And then how it didn't prevent hacked Pokemon like they said it would killed motivation to pick it back up even after it eventually comes out.

I finally took some time to use the PokeMover, but it is annoying that you can only transfer Box 1 of BW and BW2. So you have to:
PokeMover ->
PokeBank (Take the Pokemon out of the transfer Box and put into Bank or XY)
Pokemon BW (Move Pokemon to Box 1) ->
Repeat
Having to open three different softwares per 30 Pokemon

Unlike most people, I didn't play gen 5 so this doesn't really affect me much

Pokemover can transfer a whole box of pokemon, but can't transfer any box except Box 1? /facepalm
But it's still better than transferring 6 pokemon from Gen.4 to Gen.5, each transfer coming with a stupid mini-game.

Was there any lag? How long did it take to upload the box?

No lag. The saving and stuff are as fast as Pokemon X and Y.

One of my friends got a shiny 6ivs Mew on GTS, which means, fake pokemon are already out there...

And to make it worse, my girlfriends brother (27 yo with the mentality of a 7 yo), started somehow cloning pokemons via trade, to show off dozens of cloned shiny honehedge...

I'm not playing pokemon anymore, I don't spend hours fighting for BP on battle mansion to evolve porigons into mighty porigon zs and receive a fake pokemon on GTS

Yes this is true those in Europe Australia and New Zealand now have pokebank no news on North America but its confirmed in the other places go crazy o the celebi is now active and it runs until September of this year so we have plenty of time to get it

Got pokemon bank, so glad I'm living in Europe.

Moving the pokemon out of the transport box into pokebank/ingame bank is annoying, it definitely took a while switching between mover and bank.

So is everyone's save file ok? I heard some people are having their save file corrupted after the bank.

My save files are ok.

One Japanese Hydreigon I got from the GTS won't transfer over, guess that means it's hacked.
Good to see that pokebank can identify hacked pokemon, curse that Japanese player for trading me a hacked one.

Released it back into the wild...

Ok, now you've got my attention. Considering what garbage has been passed over, I wonder how badly that hack was done. I would definitely like to take a closer look at the various legendaries I've gathered. (I prefer ones with my own ID anyway).

edit: grr... I think my shiny hatching drought is going to hit 5000 eggs soon. If I don't get a shiny before Bravely Default comes out on Friday, I am likely not going to play it very much for a while.
