Now to chapter 74, a little backtracking. About Sayo, she's a clumy poltergeist that tries to scare people but is really bad. Sorta of an OxyMoron ne?, but Mana and Setsuna go hunting to whipe Sayo from existence but negi come saves the day, and Sayo. Now she's in love with Negi ne? huh? But she's cute why not?

Now look at the 25 pointed side "Luve Triangle" ^_^

The OP, "Happy Girl" is sung by the first six girls in the class (Sayo Aisaka, Yuuna Akashi, Kazumi Asakura, Yue Ayase, Ako Izumi, Akira Ohkouchi) and the ED is Kagayaku Kimi e (Asuna Kagurazaka, Konoka Konoe, Nodoka Miyazaki, Setsuna Sakurazaki).

The CD versions of these songs will be out on Feburary 2nd, and guess what? They come with pactio cards!

Okay, translated 75 finally came out (the editors/translators had midterms and stuffs and this chapter has loads of text and editing required), and it's confirmed:

Satomi, Ms. Mad Scientist who "sold her soul to science," is FULLY AWARE of the existence of magic--she knows that Evangelion is a mage and has even seen her puppetry in action--and blatantly told EVERYONE in the room that ChaChaMaru lives via magic (but her performance and power are from science). I guess Satomi pretty much figured out Negi & co. knows about everything since Eva actually lets them hang out with her so often.

Satomi: "Hu...huhuhu...you are all grown up, ChaChaMaru~ *trail of tears*" XDDDD

ChaChaMaru is so moe~ in this chapter. Ah, like they say, a girl in love is prettiest. Looks like Sayo will have a stiff competition in the next popularity vote!

I'm guessing either Chao or Madoka (and the cheerleader girls) will be featured next chapter...I don't think Razie will appear until later. Haha, by the end of the volume every character will be introduced...the day of total conquering is not far away!

OK, willing to concede... makes sense too, especially in the scene where Negi is pursuing Chachamaru on his staff in front of Satomi, so I guess she knows Negi has magical powers- if she hasn't detected it already with some gadget or other- "He has a high Magicholorian count- he is strong in the force..."

And Satomi is a cutie in a geeky way too ?:-)

I'm betting it'll be Lingshen Chao too- we've had two profiles of the people who work at the trolley cafe (Satski and Satomi) in the past three stories, Chachamaru has already been extensively covered, and there's only one more to finish off the cafe. We may even find out more about Chachamaru's origin, because she's also a part of the robotics club, as well as the bio-engineering and quantum physics clubs.

Madoka and the other cheerleaders were covered way back in volume 4 ^_^

If that's all the "coverage" they are getting, then I truly feel sorry for them. Heck, they are cheerleaders! So far Madoka and Misa are nothing more than student A and student B, and Sakurako, the only one who has been getting screen time, never played an important role. The same goes for the twins; that little tour chapter doesn't count squat.

And then there's Misora...she is even better than Sayo at being invisible. Some people spectulated she'll play a major role in one of the upcoming arc with her religious background and all, probably along with Razie who will play the opposite role. Who knows...

The Japanese translations are mostly accurate. However, I would quibble about some them.

"Contract Card" in Latin is "Charta Pactionis," by the way.

I'm not sure whether these words were translated correctly in the fan translations or in the official translation:

Adeat: let him/her go to (someone)

Abeat: let him/her go from (someone)

Those verb forms convey the ideas that actions are being urged. Many of the Negima spells have verb forms like that.

(Similar situation: "Caveat Emptor" -- "let the buyer beware.")

Haha Setsuna blushed so much when she saw the older version of Konoka. Gosh, that girl got assests! Setsuna also looked uber cute when Konoka gave her the pill..."say ah~"

Negi said Ako's name aloud when he stopped her fall...so all her friends wanted to know from her who this "hot guy" is!

Anyways, from the Japanese I can recognize, after Asuna butchered her confession to that male teacher (forgot his name), Kamo decided to have Negi use a magic pill to become older (there's also a version that makes you younger) so Asuna can practice confessing with an older male...but will she fall for the 15-year-old version of Negi instead?! Find out next chapter!

What crazy things huh? I dont post for 2 days and the messages jump up 15 posts ha ha ha^_^.

I haven't got the chance to go search for Chapter 75, 76 yet. so I'm here clue less about it. And i learn a lot from the manga but cant read it as i said earlier. Ya discussing it helps me a lot too.

So chapter 76 is a lot about Negi and Asuna ne? I gotta go get/find the scans today, i wonder if they are still posting the scans on the chinese forums. I've recently got ch 74 from it though. And i hate being lost cause i cant read the scans.
