I don't really see why it could be a harem (not against this genre, just need some variety ) according to the tags. Just because it has many girls and one (sometimes a few) guy(s) doesn't necessarily make it harem, yet I'm pretty curious to see how Red will interact the villagers.

The obvious solution is that it will be sublicensed to another licensor in the US. Most likely either Viz or Sentai since they have the best relationship with Bandai Visual. My money would be on Viz though since Sentai tends to stay away from the high profile shows.

He is most likely already being a child soldier and all. He probably watched plenty of his comrades getting slaughtered. he is most likely also a more realistic version of Souske Sagura if anything.
The emotional scarring is a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion because the pilots weren't really ready for it. |
