Most of us would agree with that. I think Freezing is probably his best attempt though. There's a lot of effort put into fleshing out the characters and setting, even if the writing is sometimes a mess and layered under his usual themes. If you read the spinoff stuff, like Freezing Zero, it really adds to the overall story. How Chiffon won her first tournament is still one of my favorite character arcs.

^So it might not be true? If it is, then well, damn. He's gotten completely OP. At least he doesn't brainwash them (or could he do that after some years of developing his powers? I hope not).
So if it's not true, then he just controls them like puppets? And they can't resist it?

Eh. Once this is over, he'll probably think back to it and feel bad for what he did. Because after all, he's doing pretty much the same thing he calls Gengo off for (controlling people). Not that it'll make any difference seeing as he did do it and he can't take it back, but the guilt will still be there.
