Most of us would agree with that. I think Freezing is probably his best attempt though. There's a lot of effort put into fleshing out the characters and setting, even if the writing is sometimes a mess and layered under his usual themes. If you read the spinoff stuff, like Freezing Zero, it really adds to the overall story. How Chiffon won her first tournament is still one of my favorite character arcs.

Quite probably, where can the story go from here? Even if the Novas are eliminated in this arc, what then? And now Kazuya's becoming something akin to a demigod of sorts, granting transcendent powers to those caught in his Freezing. Yeah, I think the story's about to end too, a shame it has to be like this. IDY started a great story, but has trouble developing them, not to mention finishing them in a satisfying manner. A shame, it really is.

It can go many places. I've transcribed the chapter with OCR sofware and from what I can read with ATG this chapter is the turning point in the story. Kazuya has a huge epiphany and he has learned to control his powers. He's powering up all the pandora as if it was nothing and he just told Satella that "she was next". She's next, how does he intend to power up someone who is already a transcendent pandora? The struggle ends now, the counter attack in humanity's fight has started. Not even Gengo and Maria had any faith in humanity in the fight against the Nova.
This is the game changer and also the perfect point to end the manga with "and humanity was saved from their gods".

Whoa, so those Pandora-Type Novas do have a core, at least that's what that huge stigmata sticking out of its chest looks like. So they can be destroyed in a believable manner, that's good to see. And glad to see the heroes turning this one around.

But who's that at the bottom of the academy, Project Arcadia Number One? I thought it fell through because Ryuuichi died, so who could be the father? Though I still hope Satellizer and friends win this one on their own and don't need to be bailed out by another overpowered newcomer yet again, that would really suck.

Spoiler for Freezing Zero Chapter 36:

And the next part of the Rana Arc is shown. Not sure who that strange doctor is, but good thing he came along to help deliver that woman's baby, that was very touching. And it seems Rana's sister is becoming quite fond of him as well.

But there's trouble on the horizon, developers possibly coming towards the village, with two Pandoras(?) assisting them. This cannot end well, not well at all.

Oh man, methinks IDY went a bit too far empowering Kazuya in this chapter, he's basically controlling the Pandoras like puppets. I'm quite sure this isn't what the fans have been clamoring for years to happen, I know I definitely wasn't. I mean what's the point of granting Transcendent abilities to Elizabeth and Arnett if they're not allowed to willingly use them?

Though I'm certain Kazyua will feel pretty bad once this is all over, he denounced Gengo for using people like pawns, now he's essentially doing the same thing. Sad, it really is.

And how would Stella be feeling about this right about now? How would she feel about being controlled? I just hope he doesn't get too emo after the fight when he reflects back on what he's done.

Well, at least Kazuya isn't weakling or a wimp anymore, huh? But still, even then, this is too much.

Eh. Once this is over, he'll probably think back to it and feel bad for what he did. Because after all, he's doing pretty much the same thing he calls Gengo off for (controlling people). Not that it'll make any difference seeing as he did do it and he can't take it back, but the guilt will still be there.

This came from ch 196 which I have only just gotten around to read 3 days ago. I read the Chinese stuff, but the forums there are going crazy with NTR and harem king jokes after this chapter.

He's essentially doing the same thing the Nova Commander did to Roxanne in the 12th clash; forcibly transcend and then control the Pandoras' actions. He's acting much more Nova than human, and that's definitely not a good thing. As you said, it's way too much. It's even worse than the last episode of the first anime season, where Kazuya forms an Ereinbar Set with ALL the Pandoras on the field. All I could think was, overcompensation. Same thing here.

On the topic of acting more like a Nova than a human, you do have to consider the fact that he's a possessor of a Stigmatic Body. That automatically makes him more Nova-like than other people. And even the Pandora actually become closer to Nova the more they use their powers.
