It has been a long time since I posted here. For some odd reason, I remembered this anime.So I went to go and plan on seeing it again. Still, I have the same question ^^. Is the manga license? Or are there any Scanlation by any Scan-group?

Just started watching this after stumbling across it when I saw a couple of references to on military photos.
Only just finished episode two but it's a very interesting story. Will report more later. EDIT: Damn this show had me teared up in a few places. Really liked it; almost makes me want to apply for search and rescue.

I'm currently watching it. I can't believe it has been almost 6 years since it came out and that I missed it until now. The funny thing is that series came out before The Guardian came in the theaters, hence I felt the familiarity with the Coast Guard work and the moments of private life harships involving the protagonists when I watch the series.
A very excellent series on all fronts. I can't recall the last time I felt such drama anime having such a grip on my own emotions as a viewer. Bryan Adams' song Never Let Go (incidentally the end credits song for The Guardian) could be a good match for this series when I think of it. |
