Been reading this & I'm liking it, it's more focused on character building through rather than the world (Well, most of the other characters seeing as Sirius has pretty much grown up & lived to the fullest already in his past life). Currently I'm only at the Academy chapters after the whole Labyrinth incident (Don't f&^#%* hurt his cute student).

I like how it begins and how it was building up, his interactions with his new family & the other cast I think was quite rather well done. Also liked how he eventually told about his "excessive knowledge & maturity" without outright saying "Oh hey, I reincarnated!".

He's pretty powerful but powerful mages so far seemed beyond him if fought head on.

Sirius pretty much destroyed him and his family, in both spirit, wealth, and position.
He put the fear in his father and half-brother, as well as brought upon the wrath of the King (and next Queen).

We don't know the details of the aftermath, but it's doubtful the noble family can continue to exist. Sirius already disassociated himself with his father's lineage, as well as developing strong ties to the royal family himself, so he's now far more important than his father ever could hope to be.

Meanwhile, Sirius invents a magi-fan and hands the blueprints to merchant guild he is acquainted with, to completely rob his father's business of the market.

So the Dorianus family's business is ruined, and the royal wrath is encroaching soon. They're utterly screwed.

I agree I really like the different PoV of how the others see him.
Its much more layered than the MC's thus far which amounts of "i'm an old man" monologue.

well, my point is too much flawlessness ruin the possibility of character development and the story. i haven't read ahead like you all guys so i don't know how the story so far.
i see a lot of series where i quickly find boring because the mc is just too strong

emelia - the sister. 1 year older than sirius (not too sure)
reus - 1 year younger than sirius

sirius then freed them from the slave collar which couldnt be unlocked without the key using his unique magic.
since their village and parent already gone, sirius offered them place to stay.
