I'm trying to act my age here, but the fluff in this episode just makes me want to squeal my heart out like some hyped teenager LOL! I was so sucked into the show for 24 minutes. I'm in love with the new ED theme (minus the hip hop =_=) and...

Spoiler for 13:

A jealous Irie---this is what I've been wanting to see from the very start of this series. It's gold. Kin-chan has served his purpose. I feel bad for him, but then again, I feel where Kotoko's coming from. Are there gonna be 26 episodes? I think it's really believable that it took them half of the series to get together. Now I can't wait for next episode and watch Irie pull a Kotoko on Kotoko haha

Have to say I can't stop smiling after the new ED and that preview. I'm containing any outbursts, but the smile is up .

Spoiler for Ep13:

Well was an episode that certainly did a lot. Kin definitely went too far, but still someone I can pity. Having only that one person in your eyes for so long, but never getting any sign of it being returned. For one moment snapped and that really settled it. Made it clear that Irie is the only person Kotoko is going to feel like that for. No matter how painful at least it ends it for Kin. Can take the painful route of moving forward with his life.

Big thanks for Yuki in giving that extra information. Clear that no matter how he puts it under his outer personality, he does love Kotoko. Was going to put them both in a lot of pain. Not to mention he and Chris who would be dealing with an unhappy marriage. Hitting home that Kin had taken the step of proposing finally knocked the guy into action.

This time it almost went to the point of no return. The marriage interview process has already gotten quite far along. Not to mention if Kotoko had actually accepted the proposal that really would have done it.

Love the new ED as well. Song really sounds nice and like the visuals going along with it. Just leaves me with a smile.

Can it actually be that they have finally gotten gotten together? With the tone from the preview just seems like thats the message they are sending home. If so could really be some fun since getting together at the half-way point leaves room for a lot of interesting things.

Even I'm getting caught up with that mother's energy in the preview .

I don't know about the manga,but from what i watched in the drama version,there is going to be this intense argument between Kotoko and Irie before they finally gotten together.That argument also results in a hot,passionate kiss between Kotoko and Irie.Because the scene is freaking romantic,i remember a bit of the conversation.

I don't think the marriage interview will just end there,cause in the drama version the grandfather of the girl is so pissed off that he refuse to invest in Irie's company that could help save the company.I am not sure whether the anime will follow the drama or not for this.

Ep 13

This is really turning into the sort of romance series that I really dig.

Let's not be too harsh on Kin, here. He's the sort of man who's always worn his heart on his sleeve, and it's not surprising that he'd act out in his frustration. He's convinced that he's the best man for Kotoko, and considering his actions between episode 12 and just before his outburst in this ep, where he'd seemingly done a lot of growing up, I'd have almost agreed with him. Yet, despite this, Kotoko will never come to love him while Irie's still so prominent in her heart, and he's now realized this depressing (from his point of view) truth. In my eyes, he's someone to be pitied, not to be hated.

Speaking of wearing one's heart on their sleeve, Mrs. Irie continues to be the most awesome character in this show.

I'm interested in seeing what they make of Christine, and I hope she turns out to be something more than just a plot device. There's the obvious romantic interest which I speculated about last week, but I do think she has the potential to be a very interesting character. She seems to have lived her life in a birdcage, which makes for some very interesting comparisons with Irie.

that was not jealousy, for me i think that was the point where irie finally knows that he loves kotoko and afraid to lose her. Maybe he was jealous with kin-chan, but he still doesn't know what jealous is(until later, kin-chan would tell him) Because from what i read on the manga..........Irie would experience the feeling of jealousy after the two got married.
