(Why does everyone call her "Blue Eyes" now, anyway? Even Rosenberg started doing it... and it's not like blue eyes are all that uncommon in this series.)

I duno what to say, while in general it was a pretty sound ep, parts of it just tended to drag out for too long hence lessening the emotional impact. Not to mention the whole resurrection thing (damit cant they just have stayed dead for the impact? j/k before someone tries to kill me ) - I also though that they where pretty dumb to not just shoot rosenberg when they got the chance, if nadie noticed that he was causing elis to release her powers then she should have just ended his miserable life already!

Okey ep overall, besides some nagging annoyances >.>

I am not having high hopes to pick up with the current episode rate, since the last episode airs next week and I am strictly following the subs.

Oh, well! I'll be patient until Starlight fansubs release their subs for the last three episodes.

Moving that aside, it was a needed moment for both Nadi and Ellis to rebond after the latter listened to the first half version of the truth from Blue Eyes.

The fact is that Ellis could regain her shine once Nadi expressed that she has already accepted for whom Ellis is, disregarding if she's witch or not.

She wants to be by her side and to protect her.

For Nadi real freedom comes when two hearts meet and fill the void among each other together.

This is as well my personal interpretation to Ricardos' words to Blue Eyes.

Those two girls need to be together in order to learn about true happiness.

My hear melt listening to that beautiful track played when Nadi comforted and hugged Ellis on the street. It's a safe to assume that song is going to be included in the second soundtrack as well.

Poor L.A. he just gets being moped like a little dog.

But I dislike the obviously, blunt display of incoherence at the end.

I mean the two girls either were close to Wiñay Marka or someplace at the location with Rosenberg already there waiting for them.

They should have given a bit of pacing development to lead the heroines to get there in a proper manner that would not have looked rushed or pasted out of nowhere.

Yea, out of Noir, Madlax and this, this show has the most nonsensical ending, and the antagonist is so weak. LA got killed by just Ricardo, Rosenberg didn't really put up a fight. And the secret witch society wins in the end. lol. Even as a huge BeeTrain fan, I was almost bored to considering dropping this series half way.

I agree, the plot has left much to be desired--and just when it was getting good, we get such a silly climax. But still, I love the characters (Nadie, Ellis, Ricardo, Lirio mainly) in this show, and that's what's kept me watching. So from a purely character-driven point of view (regarding my fave characters, not the rest...), Ep. 25 was alright in my book.

I was really hoping there would be some kind of unexpected link between Nadie and Ellis (more than just the childhood flute playing scene), like in Noir and Madlax. I'm disappointed there wasn't anything, since that was a part of the Girls with Guns formula that I liked.

I'm also VERY disappointed that Nadie's past has not been developed--I thought she was the sole survivor of her village, but do we ever really find out what happened? (If we did and I missed it, please tell me.) Maybe there will be some revelations in the last episode, but I doubt it.

And what happens in the end? Will there be a surprise resurrection of Rosenberg or anyone? Will Nadie and Ellis open an Amigo Tacos store? Will anything remotely exciting happen, or are we already done with this series?

True, but that wasn't very surprising and it was revealed so early on. I was hoping for something like the shock of seeing little Kirika facing little Mireille in Noir... Though I guess there are plenty of connections to the past in this show, come to think of it.

All hail Kokopelli, the patron god of yuri! Or maybe he's more of a fairy godfather? I still wonder if that link was metaphysical--it's the kind of thing kids could forget, so maybe it did happen, but if it did, I would like more explanation. I guess it's probably not real and all a big metaphor for their relationship.

well, before the "night of Kokopelli enlightenment", Ellis still loves that weird mask keychain more than Nadie but after that night she's like suddenly completely totally obsessed with Nadie, so I'd say Kokopelli is clearly the Patron God of Yuri

Actually that part is another part of the series that I dislike a lot, it makes it look like the Ellis+Nadie relationship is abruptly granted by some supernatural forces of yuri instead of developing gradually by journeying together.

Great music near the end, but that's about it. This ep is really not needed, they coudl've squeezed it in last ep in the ed. That fake Rosenberg is pretty funny though, if I have to guess, he's probably sent by the witch society to be with Blue Eyes so they will produce a fully awaken witch baby.

Overall I give this series a 6, it was boring all the way through, it didn't have that twist around ep.16-17 that Bee Train used to do. The gun fights throughout the series are really tame, the villains they meet during the traveling is not interesting (other than Rosenberg, LA and Ricardo). We didn't actually get to see much about Nadie's past, I think it would be pretty interesting if they covered how she dumped (or got dumped by) Miguel and became a bounty hunter. Anyways, major dissapointment, hopefully Bee Train's next project will be better. Any Bee Train shows this coming season?

I didn't really see it like that. I interpreted it as Kokopelli who, in the context of this series does symbolize love, showed Ellis what lay inside her heart. She realized and accepted that she had feelings for Nadie. Even before that scene, Ellis said that she was feeling unhappy due to the argument they had. She comes to realize that even though her keychain is important, her friendship with Nadie is even more so.

well, before the Kokopelli part, there is apparently nothing more than close friendship between Ellis and Nadie, Ellis even encouraged Nadie to go meet her boyfriend. But after Kokopelli, suddenly Ellis is deeply obsessed with Nadie as much as L.A. is with her
