I guess we're very close to the ending now. The reveal that Sonju is royalty pretty much set him up as the de facto ruler of the demons, so that's one problem solved. Musica has enough influence over him that he'll agree to peace. Norman and his pals will most likely be cured by Adam.

All that's left is dealing with the army marching on the hideout and the details of Emma's deal.

Sonju sure gave up on his "eat humans" thing fast. Well, guess he was a sentimental guy after all (and its nice to have some humor with his frustration) or Emma is just that magnetic a personality (possibly both).

Ah, now we see the true final boss battle. The queen battle wasn't that interesting but here's the recurring antagonist that we've been hearing about for a long time and what will probably be a much harder battle (where the bad guy won't just selfdestruct).

Emma had the same idea as me regarding Sonju, but apparently that won't work. And they don't really have a clue what to do.

Peter finally shows up. I'm rather curious how they're going to stop this many soldiers.

So they got Sonju to decide to stop eating humans, but the plan to put him on the throne won't work. Going to need something else on that front.

Looks like Peter is going to be the real final boss of this series.

Peter got them good, although I wonder why those demons are obeying him blindly. Now it's not just the children but also the demons that drank Musica's blood that need rescuing. Not to mention Musica and Sonju themselves.

Their is something I don't understand. The promise was create to ensure the survival of demons and humans. The human side offer a portion of humanity as food to get the demons to agree with the Ratri clan as mediators. Wouldn't the action of Norman be seen as a violation of the promise?

Also, to change the promise wouldn't you need a representative of demons and humans? Enma shouldn't have the authority to change it.

Norman is outside the promise, it was between the Ratri clan and the Demon royalty. Only their actions can breach it. James/Minerva's actions could have been considered a violation, but he never freed the cattle children himself so there's a grey area.

As for why Emma is able to forge a new promise, I guess passing the trials and making it to "name impossible to write" is enough to consider her worthy.
