Super Robot Wars Z3 (PS3 & PSV)

CCA and Endless Waltz were quite short, it'd be more surprising if they DIDN'T finish them. With that said the following plots are in effect for Z3:

-Orguss (looking at the preview)
-Gunbuster (more like one event left since this is supposedly between eps 5 and 6)
-00 Movie (which had no plot beyond Setsuna using Flag Kai for a rescue mission)
-Unicorn eps 5, 6, and 7
-Last battle of Rebuild 2.0, will likely be prologue stuff so 3.0 is very likely and that had what three battles? Four if you count Shinji being rescued?
-Frontier movie 2 (which really don't need much beyond heavy type vajra and the Queen Frontier)
-VOTOMS Phantom Arc (based on the preview), may get Alone Again if they could fit Big Battle in and it'd be the end of the OVAs with Chirico in them


I know nothing about 80s Tetsujin beyond the Japanese SRW wiki does not mention Deathram's episode appearance and the Japanese wikipedia calls it military robot.... Yeah I did a bit of episode skimming yesterday. God Mars negative esper arc could still happen. Since Muge (Dancouga) lived we could get plot from Blazing Epilogue. Since Dynamite 7 plot still never happened yet we saw Space Whales that is still up in the air.

Lets count what is left with what plots will likely be used given context clues, no Banpresto original stuff for obvious reasons:

-The Zeruel battle at the end of 2.0. Unit 00 will have to be out until it upgrades to Unit 09, Unit 06 will likely be just a cameo, Unit 02 will be changed and we'll get Unit 08. Unit 01 might upgrade to 13. Anyway, 1 total which might not be on an actual stage.
-For 3.0 there was the battle in orbit, the Wander's debut, Unit 09 rescuing Shinji, and the battle with angel 12 which I am assuming is Armisael until Gainax gets off their lazy rectums and give us proper names. 4 total, 1 might be just a map event.
-Final episode of Gunbuster which is the basic "fend enemies off until the bomb explodes" mission. 1 total.
-For 00 there is the battle on Jupiter and the ELS invading Earth space. 2 total.
-For Unicorn we have Banshee taking Unicorn, the glorified shoving contest from episode 5, Rozen Zulu's debut with Full Frontal stealing the Nahel Argama, and whatever the hell will be in episode 7. 4 total, 1 might be a map event.
-For Frontier we have the debut of the Heavy Types and the final battle with Queen Frontier. 2 total, 1 is more for new grunts that can be mixed in whenever.
-Phantom Arc had Shako in a battling arena, the return to the Kumen jungle against Strike Dog, the raid on Sunsa, the debut of the Berserga Praetorio, and the battle in Wiseman's second "body". 5 total, Sunsa arc was glossed over aside from the final battle with Ypsilon and the scene with the Praetorios could be used as a game cinematic.
-Alone Again had Chirico fighting off the Black Lightning Grenade in the desert, a squad of them at some ruins, and the entire garrison in a night battle with the assistance of the Order Buckler. 3 total, the latter 2 might be combined into one stage.

So at max, ignoring route splits and events from different stories happening in the same level, that would take up stages anywhere from 16 to 22.

I know CCA is short but it would impact the Z world hard with Quattro/Char turning against them, so I thought they'd try to carry it over to the next game especially since the Axis drop should be a huge event.
Endless Waltz I'm suprised that they didn't finish it since it's so short.

One possibility you're missing for Z3 part 2 is FMP; they covered all the animated material, sure, but it wouldn't be the first time they used non-anime shows for an SRW (Gundam Sentinel and Crossbone Gundam), and the FMP novels have been completely covered in the FMP Sigma manga.
If they actually cover the end of FMP in Tengoku Hen, I will SO fanboy squeal. And considering that the end of FMP TSR leaves a big continuation point, it's a very real possibility.

Didn't they change the whole CCA's plot in Z3? Or it's another "If route" again?

And there are 2 earths at the end of Z3.1, so I don't really see why the next game will be underwhelming in term of plot. Even GSD is still here when their story got done.

There were some changes, but they covered the major events of the movie. Also there is not much of an "if" route, more like meet conditions and Char will join or something.

I thought it was after ep 6 because she was talking that this world is a possible future world where everyone already forgets about her? She didn't get send into that far future other than the ending, right?

If they actually cover the end of FMP in Tengoku Hen, I will SO fanboy squeal. And considering that the end of FMP TSR leaves a big continuation point, it's a very real possibility.

That's what I was talking about. It was a huge event but they changed it so it could be the starting point of something bigger in the next game. A closure doesn't mean its plot toward the main story will just be disregarded.

I'm saying since CCA is suck a big event in the Gundam-verse, that I thought it would be part of that bigger something instead of just the starting point.

Considering there are much bigger events (ELS invasion and Unicorn event for Gundam-verse only), I don't really think CCA is that important to be in a climax spot for the next game, honestly. And then there are still Gunbuster. All of them are much more of a problem than some petty ideology from a Zeon man.

The Axis drop of CCA is a legendary event in the Gundam-verse for the fans, regardless of the ELS and Gunbuster events.

I'm not so sure about that. Reading people's reaction in CCA thread, I would have thought they all hate what Char did in CCA, like Zeta didn't happen at all.

Heck, people were happy when Char joined us in SRW D and stop with his bullshit Axis dropping thing. Not like there is lack of thing to drop on Earth anyway in SRW.

Well..... the Z team have been doing good jobs of making so many amazing edits to the original material to make the fans like it more so I doubt Char being CCA Char would be the villain.
Oh and according to hearsay, Gunbuster in this game is after the Timejump so I doubt we will be getting anymore Gunbuster plot, but we might get Diebuster in next game.

I will just say what Char is doing in Z3 is absolutely awesome.
It is quite a revelation when you finally found out why is he doing all this.

I heard they did nothing to fix EVOL. I've been avoiding it, hearing all the bad reps it got back in the day.

Most of the complaints people had with EVOL were fixed, the "they fixed nothing" shtick comes purely from Mikono haters.

.......And Seravee 2 isn't in? Really? Why? I am actually somewhat disappointed. I also just observed the Dai-Guard level, oh lord, I wouldn't have minded using just one heterodyne, but making it a mass production unit? They didn't do this with the other ones that appeared, it just comes off as weird.

Well, they have another whole game to put in filler for that since the series ended. Assuming we get Evol in Z3.2.

Aquarion EVOL, Gurren Lagann, and CCA were are concluded here? Excellen has nothing to do woith SRW Z at all. I don't see what you're getting at there.

There's absolutely nothing in the dialogue that syas or even hinted that there's lasting effects or plot with Esther's transformation. Crowe being a similar character to Kyousuke has nothing to do with the plot either, especially because Z has no connection to Impact or OG.
Banpresto also said a while back that they won't be including SRWs after a certain one in the OG saga. (Z being one of them, unfortunately; I wanted to see Masaki and Asakim meet)

Her conversation about being an Einst and a monster was mirrored by Esther. So yes, she had something to do with it due to that call back and we all know that Excellen eventually was allowed to keep her upgrade from the Einst. Seems pointless to have Esther repeat Excellen concerning that if she isn't being set up to get a DMified upgrade to her mecha.

So fact is, if they weren't going to anything with the plot point they should never have teased it or did that call back as that's unnecessarily cruel.

I've watched Char vs Full Frontal video which include how the ZEUXIS crews (is this the default our team name here?) try to stop the AXIS. Involving Traia and ZONE, Frontier's Fold Quartz, 00's GN particle, Unicorn Gundam's grabbing EVOL's Mugen Punch while Zeta is holding on Gunbuster, etc; it was awesome, and Beyond the Time as the BGM makes it better.

So how Aquarion works on this game again? I've seen Sparda and Gepard attack compilation video, Zessica is the main pilot of Sparda but she can use all of Shrade signature moves, the same with Gepard with Cayenne the main pilot but he's able to use Andy's Tunnel Bullet
