Yep, that was unexpected... I thought they wouldn't hold themselves from showing some breasts. After all it has such promising roots...

I wonder if soon Saito will become a magician himself. Those who have read the novels - spoil me, please!

Burner of Anime,
nah, that's just random passerby maid(probably, cosplaying). Her hair is shorter than Siesta's.

It's really not that bad, it's just that it would've been nice if they could've fleshed out the fight a little more, so that it wouldn't appear so "sudden" when it ended, that's all.

But yeah, there's still plenty of chance for Saito to show off his abilities, so it's not really a big deal.

Spoiler:
Saito was most likely in Akihabara, where maid cosplayers/employees are a common sight.

Speaking of which, considering what Saito was planning to do before he got summoned,
Spoiler:
plus the various other hints (the desktop wallpaper in his PC, for example ), I'd surmise that he has a mania or some sort (otaku?).

Does Saito look like the kind of guy who's smart enough to learn magic? ^^;

As for the fan service, it's really not too "dangerous" most of the time. Although every once in the while, Yamaguchi-san would toss a bomb at the readers. ^^;
Spoiler for an example of a bomb, vol.3 spoiler:

Well, two eps so far - not much info on his personality, but he was walking with a notebook, so he probably has some brains. And if Louise and Guiche are magicians, then Saito can be a much better one...

Fun to watch so far.
Umm just wondering does the show have a serious kind of story later or is it mostly a light plot?

Erhm , does one really have to be smart to use a notebook?
Really , I don't think he is a magician , most probably just a guy (oh that magician-servant thing so reminds me of Fate\Stay Night ) with some hidden special power.

Oh , and I totally like this show . Somehow reminds me of Harry Potter tho... but with a lot of fanservice (which surprisingly didn't tick me off)

In anime and manga - it is practically a given.

Oh, and one more argument in favor(probably, although with the way her magic works it can be the other way around) of him possibly becoming magician: remember the requirements for her familiar from the ritual? If he fits, then he must be pretty smart.

As for episode 2, I'm starting to get tired of the way they are doing the anime adaptation. They seem to be focusing on the comedy too much, and

I very much loved the first episode.. it was made up of everything i enjoy watching.

First of, having both Kugimiya Rie & Hino Satoshi playing the same kind of roles from Shakugan no Shana was indeed a nice touch. It may take someone to have seen Shana in action, but Louise is her double all other, right down to the same attitude - many thanks goes to Rie. ^^;

For me this show's like Negima join together with Shakugan no Shana, not just because of the theme of the series, but also thanks to Masahiro Fujii (Character designs, also done for Shakugan no Shana) & Mitsumune Nobuyoshi (music composer, also did the same for the Negima anime) have really helped out in me enjoying the series so far.

I wonder when they'll have the post-explosion figure to go along with this one.
