When Jiraiya was talking to Tsunade at the park or somewhere, Jiraiya said (Chapter 367 - pg. 10 - 11) he would bragged to everyone how great Mianto was. Tsunade made a sadden look There's a possibility that Minato is the son of Dan and Tsunade, but it is only in theory. I would still like to know who his parents were, only for reference.

Nothing is spoiled. The anime revealed Minato and Kushina as Naruto's parents 2 years ago (Episode 128 (2009)...the current episode as of this post is 210 (2011)). Jiraiya was also revealed as the godfather at the same time.

Jiraiya and Tsunade don't have any children. Nevertheless, it's said that Konoha has ever since been in tight control by the Senju who had the upper hand (instead of the Uchiha), so it's possible that the 4th is the son of the 2nd or something similar.
I wonder how Tsunade's little brother could be killed so easily. I thought they'd protect a successor of the Senju a bit more.

At first i thought of minato being the 2nd hokages son due to the similarity in the one finger chakra detection jutsu the only prb with this theory is, the 2nd died young which would make minato about the same age as jiraiya which is untrue.

Sound's like you've got a good plot for a Korean Drama version of Naruto where Naruto finds out his perverted teacher is actually JIRAIYA. Plus if Jiraiya hooked up with tsunade and tsunade had a kid... and happened to be Minato... Poor minato LOL where'd he grow up? in an orphanage?

Tsunade is the only one that is remotely related to Naruto since her mother was from the Uzumaki clan. So she's Naruto's great grand aunt 5-8 times removed... meaning not related at all

I am interested in this question. Senju and Uchiha have a so intricated story that it would have been natural that Naruto belonged to the Senju clan. We can only speculate for now.
I am rather curious if there is a deeper meaning about what Minato said during the presentations. He said he wanted to be acknowledged by everyone and become a Hokage. Usually there is some reason when saying that as for Naruto and Konohamaru. A flashback story in perspective?

The only way, in my opinion, that Naruto has a stronger Senju bloodline than the others is Minato's mother is Tsunade because that will tie in the will of fire, the Hokage heritage, and the theme with Uchiha vs Senju > Sage older son vs Sage younger son which Kishimoto is presenting us with.

Spoiler for Anime:

If you go back to the fillers, Iruka does give Naruto the inspiration to become Hokage, surpass them and be acknowledge by the whole village. If it wasn't in the manga, doesn't mean it didn't happen; however, for the other stuff in the anime fillers are simply there, worthless stuff.

naruto is from the uzumaki clan, they say in the wiki that the senju and the uzumaki clan has close relation bloondines.. and nagato is aswell part of the uzumaki clan because of his red hair.
