- It was nice to see someone over the age 20 have a larger role in a Gundam series; it's been a while.
- His attitude, combined with the way he went out, totally rad.

Graham "I LOVE YOU GUNDAM!!!!"
- His exhuberance is infectious, and his abilities are top notch.
- Plus his new mask is bomb.

Al/Hal "HMMMM BLOOOODDDD!!!", "I'm going to the corner now"
- A nice guy who's a total psychopath, what's not to like?

Ali "MMMMMMMOONNNSSTTERRR KILLLLLLL!!!!"
- I wonder how good he was at Counter-Strike? XD

setsuna: among main characters he's fairly unique.
@clamp-x I like that about setsuna too.

lockon: older brother characters always rule!
@jays it was refreshing.

al/hal: they're both interesting and their interactions with each other makes them even more interesting.

haro: this guy cracks me up.

sumeragi: a strong intellegent female captain.(no bounce!)

feldt: she's a pretty sympathetic character.

johann trinity: he had an interesting personality.

For this first season, the #1 star of the show is definitely Ali Al Sarches.

Second, but not close, Graham Acre. Episode 18 was his best moment... the last episode (ep. 25) was a complete dissapointement. His introduction in episode 25 started well, it was epic... but then he started explaining things more accuretaly, stating his reasons for fighting the Gundams, bla bla bla... what happened to all the awesome skills he had in episode 18.

Third place would be for Soma Peiris.

Setsuna: He rules! Of course he's kinda cute. I ranked him number 37 on my 100 fan anime characters list.
Saji: He's cute. I ranked him 58.
Lockon: so cool! Why'd he have to...gah! I ranked him 63.
Allelujah: Such a sweetie! I love the guy. I ranked him a number higher than Setsuna though. I like him a trillion times better than Mr. Creepy (my nickname for Hallelujah since episode 10!)
Sumeragi: She's all cool and stuff (and no I don't like her for her...well, balloons! ). I ranked her 71 with Marina Ismail beating her by one number higher.
Haro: Yesh. I love the little orange ball. Sadly, I ranked him 100.
Felt: I love the girl. She reminds me of me a little. I ranked her number 13.
Tieria: I love the guy!! He ranks higher than any Gundam 00 character I know! So girly, so cute and such a grouch! But we all know he's a cute little sweetie inside! I was gonna rank him number 6 but then I thought 'ehh, maybe 6 is a little too high for him' so I put him on number 7 (losing to Nagisa from Clannad). But I love the guy! So cute in his own kinda way! I wanna know about his past!
Graham Acre: I like him but I didn't put him in my list of my 100 favorite anime characters. But why does everyone say his last name as Aker!? Shouldn't it be Acre? The same with Felt's name being Feldt when it should've been left as it is!

Anyway, if anyone hasn't guessed yet from the way I've been posting in his character topic, Allelujah/Hallelujah is my favorite character. And I rate them both together since I feel that they are ultimately one person.

AAAAGHH this is INSANE can't we allow multiple votes in this thread? I'm so torn - Graham, Soma, Sergei, Allelujah/Hallelujah/Doublellujah, Setsuna, Tieria, Lockon....;_____; but yes, finally voted for Lockon...;_______________________;

Lockon - aniki. Enough said. ;_____; also, he seems to be the sanest Meister of the entire bunch. I also love how he really looks out for all his teammates, and knows that he really has to do something in order to cheer them up in his own Lockon way (see: Felt).

Graham - this guy really rocks. Insane piloting skills coupled with his own brand of values or whatever. And he goes against a lot of Gundam brand named people in the 1st season, and mostly won against them too. Shows that it's always the man that makes the machine. X3

Soma - I never liked girl pilots that much until Soma came along. She also has insane piloting skills, and cares a great deal for Papa Bear....ermm...Sergei. And her other colleagues.

Sergei - PAPA BEAR~~~!!! HELL YEAH~~~!|!! XD sadly, his awesomeness is only shown in a few screenshots worth. His awesome deserves to be shown even more. >:3

Doublellujah - he's really grown on me a lot. XD he really developed as a character, and he has insane piloting skills to boot as well.

Setsuna - wow, from a complete Heero Yuy ripoff from the first ep to that of the cool character that he is right now. Setsuna really developed as a character too. Proves that he can be Gundam! XD

Tieria - he's also changed a lot. I love how he developed his character from an unfeeling &$^&^^& in the first eps up to the more human Tieria we see in the ending episodes. I love him so much. :3

definately Graham. he rocks. i find it interesting that even though he's an antagonist, his character is very, very likeable (and at times i find myself on the Union side lol)..
and as for the #1 couple (?) or potential couple i guess, i agree with tripperazn

hmm for the first season my favs are

Saji-He is the character that got me into 00 and he is my #1 fav in the show
Ribbons-even though he dosen't play a big part in this season I think he is neat
Graham- just love the ace pilot
Louise-same as Saji she is what got me into 00 too
Patrick- he is the comedy relief character of the show and I find it funny how he always get smacked around by Kati
Hallelujah- I like split personalities plus he is batshit crazy
Chris-she didn't get much screentime either, but she was a pretty good character for the time she was in there
Lichty- same as Chris
