This version of the game is only a recollection of Sekijou's memories with her family and with them, meant to solve the problem. The basic concept came from Sekijou and Nariyuki downvoting the original game and making reasonable ideas for improvement that should have been there from the get go by Rizu.

And yet we know that Sekijou had no idea this was coming because of her shock. They literally made a separate version of the game to help Sekijou

That's just the dramatic effect and showing us that they care about her. If Sekijou instantly guesses what's the point, then they can't write it home how they treasure her, so she had to be written oblivious until her first precious chemistry memory hits her. It's not like the game got altered that much, only the contents got tailored to their and Sekijou's memories.

Ah, finally got my Mafuyu fix. Whenever she's in a pinch Nariyuki will be there, no matter which route.

I thought the chapter by itself was quite alright.
Cute role playing, followed by Rizu telling him how she's always been watching him and his different moods to build up to the kiss and confession.
That callback to the first kiss, only this time they missed and didn't accidentally kiss at first, but they did it of their own accord anyway.

Rizu arc is pretty much done, 1 or 2 more chapter to see the epilogue.
Fumino arc is really close.

Nice chapter, but I'm getting the feeling that the author didn't have a 9 chapter arc for Rizu in mind and used Sekijou as filler.
Anyway, we are near the end, can't wait for Fumino's route to start.

This chapter was great for Rizu standards. But for the love of God, don't show me Sensei with that haircut anymore. It's awful.

I have three ideas for Fumino so far.
- Even if she is scripted to win, she will win because Nariyuki and the rest notices that he spends most of his time with her on their love counselling sessions.
- The whole Nariyuki and Fumino is a counterpart to Reiji and Fumino's mother, finding her mother's star.
- The sleepover and the costume kiss.
Or these combined. Original Fumino was in denial for a really long time, so I'm curious how would she take the initiative. Hopefully, not an "I can't" for 7 chapters, then the others fold, and she accepts, both confess etc.

If her arc takes place after graduation, there is a chance she will, unless this is a development haircut, symbolizing how she let Nariyuki go, because she was simply born in the wrong generation.

Personally, with that headpiece and maid outfit from Chapter 150, it wasn't bad. But with her usual attire, it doesn't mesh well.

Agreed, the previous haircut was much much much better.
For Fumino, I seriously hope her denial will be solved in the first chapter, two at most. It was dragged long enough in the common route.
