There was no Nagato-Konan-Yahiko flashback, so it's far from over. I guess when the flashback comes that will be when Nagato dies and i think the flashbacks will contain Madara too, because he is the new main villain so he will probably be introduced as the current main villain is dying.

one thing... be defeated isn't mean that Pain will be killed, Naruto hasn't killed anybody yet.

This seems like the end of the Akatsuki arc to me and the start of something new, I predict 2-3 more arcs before the end of Naruto for good.

nah... Akatsuki still has Madara, Zetsu, Kisame, Sasuke, etc... and a franchise so millionaire as Naruto will be on the shelfs for a looooooooong time.

Didn't Naruto kill Mizuki? Yuura? Kakuzu? (well Kakashi gave the finishing blow although he would've died anyway)

I think in this situation I actually liked it that way... Im glad it wasn't just the expected FRS win that most predicted... also in the previous chapter pain blurts out in his always overconfident tone that naruto was incapable of beating him without SM.. which again like every other shonen villain before him only served as a trigger to his undoing... Furthermore the parallel between this moment and the legend of the gutsy ninja are quite appropriate, especially after seeing his father who said he wanted his son to be like the character in the book..

Yep... Sasuke didnt kill anyone... and that's one thing i don't like about Naruto, Kishi is afraid to let one of them kill anyone, even technically, Shikamaru didn't kill Hidan either.

Besides, i said that because Nagato has some use being alive than dead, in a war the most important thing is information and a dead Nagato is UBER BUH, but if he is alive and starts to spit info about Madara, about the hints that Yondaime said to Naruto... that would be intense... to know how he knew Madara, what Madara said to him, etc...

I don't see Nagato killed by Naruto's hands...

Ummmmm its a bit difficult to kill someone who's immortal. i know that kakuzu said that nobody is immortal, sothat would include hidan, but the bastard can survive as a head so go figure

I find it unfair on characters like Sasuke everyone he is going or wants to kill dies or kills themselves or escapes: Deidara blew himself up, Naruto survived, Itachi coughed blood and died, Hachibi escaped the closest he has gotten is that salamander.
