I'm putting it off until I finish Umineko Ep8 lol. Maybe at the end of the month at most. I promised I'd try and translate it for people who want to know the truth before WH finishes their more reliable work.

Some one said that this was a great series, so I finally brought myself to watch episode one just now. I just had one of those wtf moments. I was expecting a feel good series, and now, I have tears running down. It is tough to go on to episode two, but I will just have to click play after some rest.

And do get ready for some more tear-jerking moments, mind you. This is not a bawl-your-eyes-out series by any stretch of the imagination, but it does have its moments. The characters are the real stand-out here, not really the plot.

I finished the series just now. It was very satisfying, to say the least. I am glad I watched it all in one stretch instead of waiting weekly for a whole year (that must have been a killer for so many people, I bet). Yes, there were some tear jerker moments, especially anything to do with or in memory of Waka.
I wish there was more to the story, like their challenges from this point forward and going to college. Maybe they will do an OVA like for Kimagure Orange Road (another series that one of friends really loves, yet I have yet to watch). So I guess we will never know how much Akane "loves" Ko (same as Waka or not), since she might just only like him. I would have been happy for Ko if he ended up with either girl, although the idea of going out with another girl that reminded you of your dead girlfriend is a little jarring and uncomfortable, to say the least. Then again, the idea of going out with your girlfriend's sister, since your girlfriend is dead, is a bit jarring and uncomfortable as well. I loved the story development, however. I just wished they expanded on more concerning what happens after after the end of the last episode.

Probably better to ask in the manga thread, but what's the MSRP on a single volume of the translated manga that does not include the additional prices on taxes and shipping usually listed on online retailers?
