Letters
Hmm...did a few searches on this and nothing popped up so I think it's safe to ask this...
I've wondered what exactly some letter's in code numbers of Mobile Suits meant... Ex. MS-<numbers/letters> RX-<number/letters> AMX-<number/letters> PMX-<number/letters> AGX-<number/letters> ..and so on and so forth...like I'm definitely sure that the MS means Mobile Suit (duh << >>)...MA is Mobile Armor (duh again)...MSN is Mobile Suit for Newtypes, MAN is Mobile Armor for Newtypes....(I presume) ...and other things(like OZ, and OMS and such I also know) but stuff like RX, AMX, AGX, PMX, ORX and others I'm not sure if they stand for anything...if they're even supposed to stand for anything (I only know RX being the name of the project and all)

I know in the CE era, the GAT series means Gressorial Armarment Tactics, and the ZGMF series is (I think) supposed to be Zero Gravity Manuever Fighter (or possible Mobile Fighter, not sure)
The Destroy has it's own with GFAS, but I don't remeber what it was said to stand for. |

The AGX callsign is used for the AGX-04 Gerbera Tetra, which is essentially a zeonified RX-78-GP04 Gundam Gerbera.
I guess since it was still based on a Gundam, they left the "G" there. I've also heard that AGX could stand for "Anaheim Gundam Experiment", since storywise that would make more sense (the Gerbera was developed by Anaheim and commissioned by the Delaz fleet IIRC) Anyway, CE acronyms: ZGMF - Zero Gravity Maneuver Fighter ZGMT - Zero-Gravity Maneuver Trainer AMA - Aerial Maneuver Attack AMF - Aerial Maneuver Fighter TFA - Terrestrial Fighter Artillery TMF - Terrestrial Maneuver Fighter UMF - Underwater Maneuver Fighter YMF - Service Test Maneuver Fighter XMF - EXperiment Maneuver Fighter GAT - Gressorial Armament Tactical GFAS - Gressorial Fortress Armament Strategic CAT - Composition Armament Tactical TS - Theatre Suppression YMA- Prototype Mobile Armor MBF - Main Battle Figure MVF - Main Variable Figure ORB - Orb (?)
