well what's not to like an energetic girl. Ayumi is the friendly energetic sports girl. She might be a bit more "real" than the others but she's interesting and that's what made you like her.
Even in real their still interesting set of characters. |

So... Is it just me, or is Ayumi a little..."larger" in that wallpaper than usual? Not that I'm complaining...at all...
And let me say I hope we get a similar wallpaper for each further pair of seiyuu reveals... ^_^

As expected, Kanae Itou fits Elsee like a glove. Though I'm afraid that she might be trying to overdo her ''cutesy'' voice (I found some parts of her speech very jarring to listen to) Hopefully she can tone it down a bit in the actual show. Keima ... he sounds okay. Hiro Shimono makes him sound very bored (so I guess that's accurate lol) and not interested, but his fit makes him sound like I always imagined him. I just wish there'd be more ham to go with the cheese. Hm, looking from the trailer, it looks like one cour, but Spoiler:
animation looks really nice (loved the animated color for Elsee) and I guess that buries any complaints about Ayumi and Mio looking like that in the pic , and the music sound excellent. Can't wait till fall!

I found that Kaminomi ressembles a lot as Hayate because of girls that the protagonist some effeminate will dating one of them. But if Hayate is more comedy-oriented genre, for Kaminomi, it's more romance-oriented.

Hayate no Gotoku is hardly the same as Kaminomizo just from the premise alone: Where the latter is about Hayate working as a butler to pay off his debts, Kaminomi is about Keima "capturing" girls to bring out the evil spirits inside them as part of a deadly contract. And both are equally comedic if you know the source material.

I was a bit surprised that they decided to include Tsukiyo and Jun, but now that I think about it, this helps gives the (hypothetical) second season more room, especially with the longer arcs (Tenri's and Yui's in particular). Quote:
But Hayate is sexier than the other girls.

I don't really see how this resembles HnG... juz becoz it has about the same settings as Kaminomi (1 male lead -> alot girls). All galges are also like that. In fact, Kaminomi's setup and storyline resembles more to those galges rather than HnG.
Also, Keima =/= Hayate. Period.. Quote:
With that, its highly likely that there would be a second season to this, considering the amount of chapters that they used to animate the first one. |

MisaoFan had been saying that Hayate and KamiNomi are similar since the single-digits on this thread, so I don't think this is the end of that
Watching the trailer again, I can't help but fall in love with the OST. Are there any news on how will be doing the OP?

People say Kaminomi and Hayate are similar because the art styles are similarly simple (deceptively simple, arguably), and the protagonists are both reluctant but somewhat clueless harem leads. That and the fact that they're both funny is pretty much where the similarities end.
As for the voices, I feel like Keima's basic voice is a little more high-pitched than I imagined it (of course my ideal was Light Yagami/Death the Kid), but was perfectly done otherwise. And my worries over Elsee ended with the first episodes of Ookami-san (Ringo-chan) and Asobi ni Ikuyo (Eris). This PV did nothing to change that. A bit surprised that they have effectively spoiled the ending of 9 story arcs, though...

spoiling that part is bad enough for me. It practically spell out who's the girl to expect next and who would be included in this season. That thrill lightens up a LOT.
I don't find similarities concerning hayate and kaminomi. The plot is sooooo different that I didn't even think they are the same or similar even once. |
