9-3 (Total 42-18). Tsumiki makes it, although doesn't look too strong. I managed to get 1st-8th, though. And really should have go for Hatsuse instead of Suzu for my Saki girl...

So I just moved to Japan a few days ago. But when I try to get a code here I keep getting:

ERROR:PROXY規制中！！！(80)。

Anyone know what this is about?

That's what I was saying a while back. Even last year, some Japanese IPs were already banned from participating!

I know this because last year, in the process of using a certain workaround, I found some Japanese IPs that also couldn't get a code (I was able to vote 4 times last year).

Food for thought

Even though Negima got 35 entries in 2005, none made the final 8 and only one made the block finals. 2005 also marked the year the White Devil and a bunch of dolls debuted and ShizNat was at the apex of its popularity.

Out of the 7 Dolls that qualified, 5 top their prelim group (and 1 is 2nd b/c the 1st place is occupied by Suiseiseki...). Negima got 3 1st Place and 2 2nd Place, I think 1 3rd place and a bunch of 4th...

Fast forward to 2012, Saki tops 8 out of 16 groups, has 3 2nd place but all finished after another Saki girls.

Where I'm heading? Negima has a lot of girls, but overall strength are not really that good. Saki has a lot of girls, and their overall strength is also insane...

The funny thing is, I was able to get code in 5 out of 6 2nd Prelim round (Round 4 is the exception...it may be just that I didn't try hard enough, though. But all other rounds I just go to code generator and is able to get on the waitlist the first try, even though I have to wait 2 hours every single time...), and I'm in USA...

Just one more day... I can't wait to see the draw for the main tournament!

I am seeing only one Saki girl in the tracker. That's kind of disappointing since they have two 13th, one 16th, and one 18th from the first prelim.

One last count before the madness begin.

8-4 (Total 50-22). Shino-chan make it by a vote. After the madness in 1st prelim, Saki fell quite a bit and most of their girls that qualified are barely qualifying. Not huge surprise, though, with the amount of above average girls that got knocked to 2nd prelim before they can get in...

As for my "2nd prelim winner prediction":
Group 1 - Finished 2nd
Group 2 - Correct
Group 3 - Correct
Group 4 - Finished 2nd
Group 5 - Finished 4th, 2 votes behind the 2 2nd place
Group 6 - Eh...yeah, don't get me started...Kagura actually finished ahead of Haibara, Koneko, Nagatsuka Saki in Group 9. 2nd Prelim? She managed to finished 30th...

Overall, 8 groups of madness...

Group F prevents an all-Kugyu QF. All-Saki QF is still a possibility, although Group H sort of prevent that (Ikeda being the only stronger Saki girl).

B: 3 (Toki, Azusa, Akarin)
C: 0
D: 1 (Nagi)
E: 2 (Yuu, Hinagiku)
F: 6 (Kuro, Ryuuka, Kirame, Nyaruko, Ririchiyo, Eru)

Seems like group F will be Group of Death...

Gonna see how the matchups end up... While Block F looks hard, I'm more interested in Block B...

Maybe we should break it down not only by prelim winners, but by number of top3 prelim group finishers by block?
