Romance of the Three Kingdoms

I've read the classic Romance of Three Kingdom chinese books also. The story line in this anime is pretty accurate. I think it's worth checking out for people who wants to know the original classic and wonder why it gets so many adaptation in different kind of literatures.

So is the the anime good? Had recently rewatched the two Red Cliffs movies and I'm quite interested watching yet another adaptation of RoTK. Anything is better than reading that huge volume of the book sitting on my bookshelves (it's going to take years to read finish it, given my shitty command of chinese).

That's the question, no one has been able to find subs for the Chinese or Japanese dubs yet so we're all in the dark.
