Personally I'd call it more of a Chimera Ant Saga, with this part being the NGL arc. In that same vein, I count the final arc as part of this saga.

Also I was sorta thrown for a loop to realize the Hunter society would actually try to help Colt and the Queen. I guess this is the equivalent of asking for asylum.

Next week: more Palm/Bisky hijinks and the King is looking for a throne. Wonder if he'll make a game of it *cue CSI:Miami scream*

I noticed this ages ago but I never bothered to say it until now so sorry if this sounds totally obvious: One of the best things about this show is it's strong focus on very intriguing villains. I'd say it puts more focus on the villains/antagonists than it does on the good guys. Heck, I'd even go as far as to say that Colt has become true main character of the Chimera Arc so far (or the very least, the deuteragonist). It's almost like Urobuchi and his focus on villains, except Togashi is just slightly better at it since his villains feel more like real characters than statements or experiments. Colt was very intriguing character to be begin with and I'm very impressed with the direction this show has taken him. And unlike the Phantom troupe, I can't really hold his crimes against him. It was just animalistic nature at work and he didn't know any better. What would be really amazing now is if Colt became a true main character in his own right, develops his Nen and actually battles it out with the Royal Guard. That would be totally sweet. The problem now though, is that it seems he raised his own death flag by promising to protect that foetus (incredibly disturbing by the way). I wonder what that foetus is anyway. Kite reborn maybe?

I was kinda surprised hunters would help Colt save the queen.
After everything that chimera ants did to humans, it's just weird.
I always liked Colt, he was the most human one of them all.
It's definitely not good that ants are without control now.
Interesting episode, can't wait to see what happens next.

Was surprised to see they agreed to try and save the queen. So the President finally has gotten serious, even better him laughing at being a challenger. Wonder who he'll bring with him. Lol Morel being soft. So was that Pitou's Kite that attacked Knuckle and Shoot? Well the King and royal guard is one thing, but now all the others have left the NGL as well, this really has become a big problem. Date with Palm sounds too good for next week.

The Hunter's association doesn't exactly run on emotion, it's an organisation of mercenaries, so the idea that they would -never- help the chimera ants by virtue of them having done stuff doesn't apply here.

Lol yeah no joke, the chimera ant arc was 132 chapters. The entire hxh manga is 340 chapters. So over a third of the series is just this arc. So don't expect it too end anytime soon, especially with all of the filler they've been doing and the fact that like the first 8 episodes of the arc they were adapting like 1 chapter per episode.

But don't worry this arc has enough variety that it won't feel repetative, I mean just look at the difference between the Kite section and the Knuckle section.

It is so sad to see Kite in such a state. Togashi loves to upset me it seems. I hope that in the next episode we get to finally learn about kite's fate. However, if the next episode is just going to be goofy this means that the author is getting ready to "shock" us to the core with the crazy hardcore stuff that is coming after the next episode... Hell, this is Togashi we are talking about! of course he is going to goof off on the next episode and then rend our hearts in the next.

That would be interesting if Colt and Biscuit would help and provide the informations they need. It may be need a long time until Colt finally able to master his Nen. What will happen to Gon and Killua, how will they train without a teacher?

I can't be sure about that since the female royal guard is the one who did "things" to Kite.
