Can she really take Leon on despite being injured? D:
Great episode btw. Loved the choreography of the aerial fight between Emma and Luciano in the air. The show continuously proves that there will be losses and that not everyone cane be saved....

Good episode overall. It doesn't have the level of awesomeness from the last two episodes but nonetheless this show never ceases to amaze me. At one moment it gives you an impression that Ema was going to die but thank god she didn't. And Zaruba seems to have gone back to his original ways. Now then hopefully we can get to know Mendoza's plan soon.

You said it!
Back when I first saw Ema teasing Leon in the series, I thought "maybe..." but I didn't really think it would ever happen like most of my other ships, but damn! Way to go Leon! Now I really want to see next week's episode. Will Ema play it off or lay her claim? |

Great episode, not that it wasn't good from begenning but recently it really rocks.
As for Ema x Leon, I always had weak spot for this ship and I can't say I dislike result of this episode... just not sure whether it's more to it than just licking each other wounds (plus alcohol). Double rebound sound like pretty bad way to start relationship afterall. Anyway it should be very interesting from now.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise. I should have seen it coming, seeing how they made an effort to show us that Ema was noticing how much Leon had matured. Boy no more, he's a man now.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Alfonso ends up with Octavia. SN: Ponytail confirmed for best secret weapon.

Another great episode =03. That ending... I never expected THAT to happen, as I always saw Ema as a big sister to Leon more than anything. I've no complaints though, even if it was simply mutual wound-licking.
One thing to notice that I'm so SOOO grateful for, is how strong Ema is depicted to be. She's no damsel-in-distress, and fully capable of being independent. The way she sewed her own stab wound, and the way she killed Lucario without the help of Leon really made her character shine in my eyes(as well as the scriptwriter's)(not that I didn't think she was great from the get-go =03). I also liked the way she made a move on Leon without devolving into a little girl and simply took the initiative(drunk or not), which starkly shows the difference between a young girl(Lara) and a grown woman with experience. I'm glad they aren't afraid to break the usual tropes, though I'm not familiar with the Garo series at all, so maybe strong women like her are normal staples for the series. Side note: Ema looks better w/o the ponytail. She'd probably look better w/o the lipstick too(you can kinda see her w/o it at the end). Question: Garm's a man?!? (O.O )? Lol, so damn true . NOOOO! Lara was just too cute!!! She shouldn't have died, but admittedly, Leon, and by extension the story, turned out better that way =0(. I guess no matter the medium, a person's resolve upon someone's death has more....conviction(?) than a person's resolve that does not. Is it the priceless value of a life lost that makes the viewer feel this way? Is it more heroic? Bah, can't quite put my feelings into words =0\....

Great episode. It's nice we finally got to see Ema's past and who she was chasing after. It's unfortunate what ended up happening to her husband. The aerial battle between the two was great though. And the hidden hair sword, Bayonetta would be proud.
I also have a bit of a soft spot for EmaxLeon, so even though it was more wound licking forcibly brought about by an injured drunk woman I won't complain if something develops.
