I don't have a drumkit at home since I might disturb the neighbors at the apartment. I opted for Tama, Pearl or Truth Customs (even though it's very pricey) but after seeing that Yamaha HipGig since last year, I think I'll buy that instead......but:

Change the drum throne with the kit to the conventional one.
Attach a 14" rack tom as floor tom to a cymbal stand.
Use Matt Greiner's cymbal setup (especially the Oriental Trash Chinas and Zil-bells) but add an A Custom 20" EFX cymbal with the extra tom.
Add a piccolo snare to my left.
Use Axis Longboards.

The same case , now I have no money even for Epiphone , but when I start playing in band then I'll buy Gibson or Epiphone.

As I've already mentioned, given that you're only just starting out, it would be good to get your basics down first before you consider getting an effects pedal. That said, if the overdrive/distortion on your amp isn't that great, I'd consider getting a BOSS Blues Overdrive pedal, but that's about it.

With that in mind, it's probably best to go for a Roland Cube amp.

-gulp- That's a whopping 2 grand you have to save... Good luck xD

Might be a tad irrelevant, but I'm considering learning the drums (Ritsu was right back in season one when she said drums look so much cooler). Any drummers here with any tips for choosing a set? ^^'

I actually named my first electric guitar "Aki-chan" after Yui's voice actress, even though it isn't a Gibson, and even though K-ON! wasn't the catalyst to me buying one (that honour would mainly go to Devin Townsend, but "Devy-chan" just didn't have the right ring to it).

Got that mic, works just fine for vocals and acoustic guitars. But what are you using for an interface or whatever you're recording with?
