I can't believe he just let him leave. A dangerous psychic like that; I'd take him off the board while Peeps has the upper hand. I liked that the animators remembered to leave one of the skylights busted from the antagonist's entrance, I've often seen things like that get missed.

The show made me go buy the books. They're pretty good. I ended up calling off work one day so I could blow through four of them, lol

I'm surprised that P-Chan did not put a curse on that guy as that guy's ability is really nasty. They could very well have to fight him again, so they should have done something about him.

Pi-chan is lucky that he is only facing a Isekai-ojisan doppelganger, not a real Isekai Ojisan. The guy throws all his attack to Pi-chan based on his game knowledge. When he fails, he walks away. The real isekai Ojisan will take on the challenge and use any gamer trick and hack, until he beats the boss.

Sasaki realizes the enemy guy is acquaintance of his superior at the agency. They don'st seem to have anything in common. This guy is a geek who is into fantasy video games, and his superior confessed to Sasaki that his interest is queer. Their shared information puts Shizuka in trouble. Sasaki manages to persuade him to leave Shizuka alone. It is like the organization is like a mafia, and it puts a deserter to death. Sasaki doesn't want to get involved with any rival faction, but he has no choice. So, he utilizes his skill learned from Japanese businessman handbooks.

The anime ends right when Neighbour-san was about to become relevant, what the fuck? I didn't enjoy this show all that much but I want a second season now. She's by far the most intriguing character.

Anyway,

Spoiler for final episode:

The more interesting part is that someone on Crunchy claims 90% of her content got cut, and the perspective was actually supposed to switch between her and Sasaki.

That being said, given the implication in the post credit scene, I'm certain I don't want that perspective switch to begin with. So bullet dogged I guess.

I actually thought she'd be one of the magical girls and just pull a Clark Kent there.

She was literally the only reason I made it to episode 8 or whatever, now I definitely don't regret dropping the series.

I did see people on Reddit say her PoV parts were getting cut but I don't believe there was that much, from what most people were saying her major story didn't start until the end of the anime.

On crunchy people said, she was basically the second main character with the perspective switching between her and Sasaki's and that they added the last part in now to not shoot themselves into the foot later on.

While promising at the start, and even near the end, meandered far too much in the middle with uninteresting and largely inconsequential merchantry.

5/10

I didn't actually expect it to be announced this soon. I guess it was always the plan. Hope the second season will start will all of the neighbour's POV that they omitted.

It was a good show, one of the few I looked forward to weekly this season. Enough to make me go buy the books. The books are decent. Don't wanna spoil anything, but Christ, this writer can't decide what he wants to write. If you read all the books, you can see he wants to experiment with all sorts of genres and settings but in one overarching story lol. A little chaotic, but interesting.

Looking forward to S2.
