That being said, it is not as if other companies have taken our financial capacity into consideration. Companies, such as Hasegawa, have been producing battloid or fighter only kits that is more affordable but still retain very high standards. Quote:

Thanks for that.
When it comes to transforming stuff, I'd been used to the kind of deluxe- and voyager-class figures that Hasbro and TakaraTomy have cooked up for certain TFs lately. (I still have to get one of those Universe 2.0/Henkei Cyclonus figures...) In terms of model kits, I suppose the issue of making the transformation work makes sense - while I like the Arios, and love the GN Archer, neither are really all that convincing in HG as transformable figures, but then at least they work as is for the setting they can be found in.

I found a 1/100 action figure for the VF-25F - looked about the same size as a Robot Damashii Gundam, but it was 85 bucks Canadian!
Is that the kind of price one would expect to get a smaller, but still transformable, VF-25, or are there other options?

These sculptures are great, look at Ranka's frills, and Sheryl's hair (bottom right of image). The only thing I don't like is how Ranka's right leg looks twisted. |
