The Ootori obviously/probably had some management problems internally if they weakened themselves enough to get bought out. That his son saved the company is probably a pretty bad move from a personal finance standpoint, letting personal/emotional priorities supersede fiduciary duties. I think it would've been more impressive had he NOT saved the company and then lorded it over his father with all the money he would've saved. |

I don't think the hosts get paid for being in the club; I can't imagine they'd care all that much, really. But I think the club makes a fair amount of money, what with all that merchandise Kyouya's been selling; most of that money probably goes to all the huge expenses the club must pile up, what with their collector's china and flying stagecoaches from France and whatnot.
