Due to this recent development, I would have to conclude that Shirley is a danger to the rebellion, therefore Shirley must die.

Beats me why Shirley was even hated. Next to Nanali she is the only main cast that is still innocent. And we should all expect the upoming new king of Neo Britannia to have multiple woman, right?

May be the episode will start with Shirley and Lelouch waking up from a bad somewhere, naked... They may even get bonus shaded movement shots like what Nina had...

But the thing that is actually worth discussing is now Lelouch need to handle the consequence of his action face-to-face. For his own political goal, he caused the land slide and killed some innocent bystander, including Shirley's father. It's similar to 8 years ago when someone killed his mother for certain political goal. Sure he didn't target the bystanders, but the result is the same and is bound to happen. Will he adjust his tactic to avoid civilian casualty?

Britannia can use those bodies to damage the hero image of the Black Knights. But the warrior princess probably has too much pride to go for that.

If Shirley learned the truth and choose the path of revenge, can they kill each other? Lelouch may be eventually forced to kill Shirley, and that will turn him into a cold heart bastard like his father.

How about Karen? Can she kill Shirley or Suzaku? Will she hesitate next time she fire her WMD?

I was thinking the same thing, how can she left her mom to grief on her own and go around and find some men she has a crush on and throw herself at him? That's mess up, unless of course she was not really thinking right because of her grief, but I still think she is selfish to leave her mom by herself instead of comforting her mom like a good daughter should.

Anyway, if Shirley ever knows Lulu was the one who killed her father (technically it was Kallen but cute girls in anime are never guilty hehe), I think she might her name from Shirley to "Shinney" dun dun dun muahhahahahahaah j/k

Well those tickets were the very last gift her father sent to her, because he was working away and couldn't be there with her. You may not want to just throw that away.

LOL if thats was to happen, "WHERE" will they be sleeping? In Lulu's room? Ofcourse not, we know who is in there. Shirley is not a boarding student, so he has to go to her house if that's going to happen. Shirley's mother is there, crying as well...

Makes me think, Shirley is extremely cruel to her mom, she left her alone and went on a "date". What kind of daughter is she?

Personally, I don't know why people are responding with soo much hate to shirley, specially people considering that it's "Impossible RL for that to happen".

You know, I have seen too many women and even men do weird and extreme things during a hard depression and/or hard moment. In fact, I have seen a girl IRL do what Shirley did in thsi episode. So I am really hoping that she isn't trying to get laid with Lelouch or that at least Lelouch will have the decency to stop her. ><

Either way, good episode, I give it a 9. And nina stuff was just weird.

If an average teenager's parent was killed, there's a chance that they wouldn't find the strength to try to cheer their other parent up. All that "comforting the other parent out of kindness and respect" will only happen if...

1. Unbelievable anime characters came to life.

2. The character whose parent died WASN'T an adolescent teenager. That's an important factor right there, since most teenagers haven't seen enough death in their life to get used to it, especially if it's a parent who died.

Trust me, one of my friends did the same thing when he found out his dad had cancer. It didn't even take death to force some tears out of him.

Bt still, I agree that Shirley was using her father's death as an excuse to get some love from Lelouch. I don't hate her for it though.

From my perspective, the concert is the only thing left that has any connection to her father.

Plus, if you ask the writers, they probably put her there so they could fit in that scene. There's alot of stuff to do when a relative, especially your father, dies so her mother probably had to rush to deal with some other stuff or wishes to be left alone. Thus, Shirely came to the one place that her father wanted or wished to be there.

Yeah it's alot of crap but that's the point. The main idea was to get Shirely and Lelouch intimate.

Either way, good episode, I give it a 9. And nina stuff was just weird.

Makes you wonder what development awaits down the road. Poor Euphiemia.

That or she could find out that Lelouch = Zero when he pulls out one of his shows showing how cruel the Britannian Army is too.

Personally I prefer to see her as a Rurouni Kenshin's Tomoe (sacrificing for him) or even like Flay rather than pulling a Lunamaria and running to Suzaku.

Personally I wish for this first, or even if she survives and gets herself some use in the rebellion. ^^
