It's especially awkward for Russia on the diplomatic front since to condemn the airstrike as undermining peace negotiations requires Russia to admit that Ukraine managed a frankly absurd airstrike into their territory that they had no right to be able to pull off if Russia was the military power it claims to be. Because old ass Hinds loaded up with dumbfire missles aren't cutting edge strike aircraft designed to strike deep into well defended enemy airspaces. The only other explanation is the Kremlin is pulling a false flag on themselves that makes them look like witless morons while destroying vital infrastructure. I'm not sure I'm ready to believe that yet. Even with all of Russia's idiotic conduct in this war. Regardless. I suppose that site that got rocketed was not sufficiently blessed by Saint Grom.

I also saw in a youtube video that russia's drone are made out of components made in the west, it seems only the frame of the drone and the parachute were made on Russia. Also saw about a week ago in another video that the plants that manufacture and repair russian tanks closed down, again, because they require western made parts. This should be a call of attention to the USA military, because they have been sourcing some of their parts from china, guess who is going to strike back with sanctions in a not so hypothetical future? p.s. Russia aims Ukraine disinformation at Spanish speakers: How come the RT app is still active in the google store? IMO that is a major source of disinformation for millennials. Since the end of the Cold War, actually. There was plenty of Soviet equipment that was manufactured/repaired/maintained in Ukraine before the political borders were redrawn, such as:
- Large ships (the Ukrainian shipyards built the Kusnetzov aircraft carriers, for one - and Russia lost not too long ago one of its largest floating drydocks, vital for work on submarines and the Kusnetzov itself, which makes the Ukrainian facilities all the more alluring) - Some missiles (ICBMs, IIRC) - Cargo planes (Antonov is, after all, Ukrainian) - Tanks (the Kharkiv-Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau, or KMDB, whose engineers and factories created not only the original T-34 but also the T-64, and its associate the Malyshev Factory, which also built LKZ-designed T-80s) - Certain electronics Of course the close ties between Ukraine and Russia until the Crimea crisis made it a rather minor inconvenience, but 2014 changed all that and Russia has been trying to do everything in-house since then. However, with the sanctions in place, massive inflation building up and a possible 10%+ contraction of the economic output predicted for this year, it's going to be MUCH harder to replenish those stocks or provide alternatives, especially for the high-end stuff. Case in point: Uralvagonzavod (UVZ), the Nizhny Tagil-based manufacturer of the T-90 and T-14, recently stopped its production lines due to a lack of Western-provided parts.

The people of Russia have to be told. They have to be made to understand that this playbook their government is using is almost identical to one Adolf Hitler's playbook. It has been five weeks and the Russian military is going for 1944 Nazi Germany levels of crimes against humanity.
They need to know the truth. It may be the only way to save Russia from itself.
