Problem with groups are, usually either lots of them are uninformed and unqualified to make such decision in the first place or each of the member is heavily personally opinionated in their judgement that reaching a decision usually took much longer than necessary(since the matter itself is very subjective in nature) It's still the best solution currently, although not the ideal solutions.

At a guess, the same people who were making that decision before they cancelled the quotas. The same people who make other decisions which can have large political or economical implications. I don't see why the quota decision should be special.

Also, what "neutral"? What are the sides?

I think most people here would be reminded of a similar article written about <<Rape Culture>>.

The comments make me sad.

The actual WSJ article, if read in its entirety, is actually very thoughtful and well written. This reminds me of a political smear campaign ..

I felt the article's more about feminist hypocrisy, and less about actual drunk sex despite the title. Because a lot of factors that's relevant in drunk sex were not really discussed.

You do know that criticizing feminism, no matter how legitimate, almost always gets you an automatic male chauvinist pig label right?

But what happens if you get a woman to do the criticizing? She labeled as a traitor to the regime or something?

We should learn to criticize each other based on each others' current action and not what our respected old people did in the past.

We got a lot of Patriots around the world, mostly generals standing way, way, way, way, way, way,.............behind their ten million army. But I doubt you could find philosophers among them.. or even call them REALLY brave at all.
