K-On!! (Second Season) - Episode 2 Discussion / Poll

This episode was hilarious, Yui with the drill, and getting slapped by money, Ritsu with the hat, was great, actually I'll agree with others she stole this episode. Another thing this episode reminded me of was the first episode of Metalocoplypse where they go the super market. They could have an interesting time doing some kind of dub mash up with that. I did like the Weird Al video, that was great as well

A very fun episode. The animation budget must be way up... I don't know when I've ever see backgrounds as skillfully and fully realized on a TV budget... Also the overall smoothness and quality of HOW the characters animate seems much better this season so far. Bravo KyoAni for putting the Yen on the screen!

Its interesting to note that the characters are rendered in an even more pushed fashion. The legs are more bandy, the hands smaller compared to the faces, the waists lower and torsos longer... I dont know quite what they're getting at, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a chara with more realistically depicted aohige this season. (as opposed to the usual cat like snaggletooth that is the shorthand of most manga/anime.)

I agreed that the animation looks stunning so far this season. Hope the quality won't drop so much by the time we get to the middle of K-on!!

Even as a fan of Mio myself, K-on!! started to have more than just Mio now ^^

Looks like they don't know how to handle money when it's staring straight at them, even Azusa. But they went out of their way to make sure they got more money from the guitar sale.

And Ui, angry? Try sensei angry (especially when it came to getting the receipt from Ritsu).
