FL6... This round's most troublesome match... Taking a look at 2ch, the results so far are:
- Kyouko - ~320 votes - Mikoto - ~290 votes - Ako - ~200 votes - Koromo - ~10 votes... EDIT: Mikoto's votes are skyrocketing in the 400s, Kyouko is stagnating at about 350, Ako is at 300 and advancing. EDIT 2: Mikoto's votes went over 500. Ako caught up to Kyouko, and now they are both somewhere above 450 votes.

FL7: Kujou Karen vs Tomoe Mami vs Atago Hiroe vs Miyanaga Teru
I don't think Karen is strong enough to compete with the other three. Mami is probably a safe pick for the top slot which leaves Hiroe and Teru to fight over second place. Hiroe should be a very strong Saki character but she hasn't been challenged at all so far. Teru has managed to stay close to Toki and did very well in Repechage. It will be a tough match but I think Teru will win here. Vote: Tomoe Mami Predictions: Tomoe Mami Miyanaga Teru

Anything short of invalidating roughly 90% of Mikoto's votes Railgun has already proven that she will fight to the bitter end and will not end up in last. Whether she can hold the lead (or 2nd place) and advance is another story.
On the other hand, if the current results hold up or the rankings stay the same, this would be Mikoto's 2nd match where a PMMM rep was eliminated in the same match because Ako would be 2nd and advance while Kyouko is currently 3rd. (Mikoto's 1st match was against Homura in 2011.) |

My numbers for Mikoto were 510+. Guess I messed up somewhere.
Anyway, these results are really satisfying. If the rankings remain the same after the vote deletion, this match will prove that the PMMMs are not invincible. Koromo got the short end of the stick, but split votes would have been disastrous for Saki in this match, so this was for the best.

No. In fact, RUN posted today in the administration thread saying he doesn't feel like doing anything today either.
Or, at least that's what I gathered from reading his post. I'm now confused about what "Pick" and "Predict" mean now. I thought I had it figured out before. "Pick" just means the two you want to advance, right? It can't possibly be characters you voted for (code generation + post on voting thread), because you can only vote one in this round. "Predict" I imagine would just be the two that you think will advance.

FL8: Miki Sayaka vs Tsujigaito Satoha vs Akemi Homura vs Yuigahama Yui
Two Puella Magi vs two non-Puella Magi. Since two characters advance this is an easy match to call. I have Homura in first and Sayaka in second. Satoha is a Saki character but she is one of the weaker ones to make Round 4. Yui is just happy to be here. I don't expect the Puella Magi to have much problem winning. Although, I wouldn't put it past Homura to find a way to get eliminated anyways. She is very good at finding ways to lose several rounds before she should. Vote: Akemi Homura Predictions: Akemi Homura Miki Sayaka

Anyway, RUN again proves to be a liability to the tournament. "Doesn't feel like doing anything"? Why is JSaimoe dependant on the mood of a single person to begin with? |

Let's see.....
Before vote eliminations: Mami is leading and Teru is 2nd with Karen in 3rd. Alice was trailing Awai by 60 in the first match for 2nd, Alice ends up advancing. Karen currently trails Teru by 84. Karen would rather win outright instead of relying on vote eliminations to advance, but I don't think she would turn down the opportunity to advance if the official votes end up in her favor. Looks close enough that the official rankings could change. |

There are two 2ch-like boards, either of which can be used for voting, and the latter also has the official administration thread: http://saimoe.thread.jp/ast/ http://jbbs.shitaraba.net/anime/10101/ Both of them are linked from the main site: http://www.saimoe2014.info/
