Hiroaki Hirata was my first thought actually.

Kuromitsu suggested Keiji Fujiwara, who'd also be a good choice.

He looks like he's kind of young though. Would he really sound like he's in his late 30's or have they already mentioned his age? Seems more like he'd be voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi to me.

I don't think Nakai would fit, his voice is not really for characters like Dandy. Casting Nakai in this role would be definitely going against type for him and it would be interesting, but ultimately I think his voice quality is not right for the role.

Hirata Hiroaki is pretty much the obvious choice, but I kind of hope it won't be him, specially because he's such an obvious choice.

Fujiwara Keiji wouldn't be surprising either, but his one of my favorites, so.

Well, Fujiwara, Nakai and Hirata usually play characters who are a lot younger than they are, so... Besides, anime voices are usually cast for character type first and everything else second/third/etc.

But that aside, I can see Konishi in the role as well, he's versatile enough to pull off a character like this.
