Anime/manga like Desert Punk. I'm not looking for a dystopian/Post-apocalyptic anime/manga, but a Protagonist that shares the same characteristics as Kanta from Desert Punk.

self-centered
Non-ideologue
arguably Sociopathic
Pervert

I've seen a lot of anime with anti-heroes, and they all have two things in common:

Idealist who wants to save someone/something/then world
A sob back-story to garner sympathy from the audience and to shed light on why the protagonist is so "evil"

I don't think Kanta can be classified as an anti-hero because he's worst than that. He has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I hope I was able to pinpoint the sorta archetypes I'm looking for.

You could try Dorohedoro.
Manga is nearly finished, dirty post-apo world with a lot of gore and grotesqe. Supringsly, the plot and characters are very well done. And the protag do pass your criterium,while being a likeable character still.
