Suck about the OG negi cast not having an conclusion

Doubt there gonna be an epilogue in the tank version

Really wanted my KH3 moment where yur , negi, & nodoka hug each other after being free from the curse & now gain there free will again.

here hoping when the tank release next month (which is way to short an window to add anything new content)

I never believed UQ Holder was the timeline Asuna woke up at the end of Negima because the inconsistencies between them were clear from the beginning and kept piling up as the story progressed, but this chapter finally puts it beyond any doubt and clarifies that UQ Holder was an even more unnecessary story than it already would have been if it actually had been Asuna's timeline.

I'm not even going to try and make sense of Ialda's defeat and Yukihime's return. It's incredibly contrived nonsense even for UQ Holder just so Touta gets to have his Yukihime and eat her too. And how the hell did Ialda survive getting blasted by two Magic Cancel attacks and a perfected anti-immortality blade? Is she a magical cockroach?

Not sure what the point was of bringing Mizore back from pseudo-death only to kill her again at age 34. It seems comically cruel.

Are the kids supposed to be some sort of metaphor for their journeys which I'm sure were awesome but we never actually saw? Because that would be a sick joke. Or did Negi actually hook up with everyone? Had we seen those relationships develop it might have been palatable, but the last time we "really" saw these people was long ago in another timeline where things went very differently. Negi never struck me as someone who would be interested in a harem anyway and Asuna is especially hard to swallow because, distant relation aside, the entirety of Negima and UQ Holder beat you over the head with the fact that she's his onee-san. I'm disgusted either way.

It's a bit rich of them to call Chao's interference cheating considering how broken their own cast is. And they certainly don't seem to have a problem with it when she does it for them.

The moment with Chao, "Evangeline" and Asuna pretty much ruined Asuna's awakening in the other timeline for me. It makes a mockery of a very poignant moment and now I will always wonder if the others were there all along, hiding and watching the poor girl have a breakdown.

It doesn't really feel like a conclusion but I suppose there wasn't much to conclude to begin with. At least with Lost you could make an argument that it was about the characters instead of the island but in this case none of the characters (both old and new) got any real development and neither cast nor story ever cared about anything that wasn't romance anyway.

Spoiler 1 Spoiler for : Eva sacrifices herself and dies. 12k years later she reincarnates, she meets Touta and regains her memories. Touta turns her into a vampire. The battle was uninspired, the giant boxes of text aren't fun to trudge through, Akamatsu noting out how young Mizore died at was kind of weird, and oh, its a SEPERATE separate timeline. Sayori tries to mimic Eva to Asuna when she wakes up again, Asuna passes her insight check, and FUSION HAs with her Imperial Princess counterpart, I guess.

Negi got a harem ending in this timeline. It’s better than ending up with Chisame only. That reminds me, has it ever been confirmed that Honoka and Isana are clones of Konoka and Setsuna?

Dargor Welp Join Date: Jan 2011	Spoiler for Spoilers: Not gonna lie, I'm at the point that I'll take any ending where Asuna gets a vaguely happy ending that isn't stuck being a sovereign. Was always disappointed with that ending. That panel is probably the like, one decent thing the whole thing brought to the table. Spoiler for Spoilers: And no, I don't think the Minis are symbolic. Honoka and Isana are there too. Let's not forget in Negima there's literally a mini-Ayaka running around when Asuna finds the time capsule.
