It won't touch the darker side of the industry because it's not about the idol industry at all. It's about a club of amateur idols who specialize in promoting their school.

More along the lines that anime idols =/= real idols and don't face that weird side of that industry. How many of the iM@S seiyuus are married? It will be unheard of if they were real idols.

This is my first post in this forum so hello everyone... And this is my favourite anime by far... Nice songs, nice girls, especially Honoka and Kotori but I like all of them... I will just wait till end and then watch all episodes in one day... I hope they'll be on Love Live or something... Sorry for my bad English.

A-RISE was great in this episode... μ's new song was great, but I personally liked A-RISE's song more, and the live sequence actually lacked CGs... animation staff should has put the effort there. And they turned out to be pretty good people too.

A-Rise have finally been formally introduced in person and as it turns out, they're actually friendly people, not assholes looking to sabotage the other groups.

It's interesting to see how A-Rise's lives are presented as opposed to μ's. It seems to lack CG but on closer inspection, I think it's still present but they definitely bumped up the animation for this group to make it less obvious (that or there really wasn't CG and that was just some damn good drawing). Overall, I prefer their song over μ's, though that's mainly because they've sort of beat the "We won't lose! We'll make our dreams come true!" fluffy concept so many times over in their previous songs with No Brand Girls being the most different sounding. If I remember correctly, Maki wrote that song. Please fire Umi and have Maki write everything

Maybe they should've went with the sexy concept they were discussing afterall.

Spoiler for A Theory on Honoka: Besides having godlike powers, the reason Honoka was sleeping this whole episode is because she was fixing things as a Timelord. Example 1 Honoka averted Nico from telling Maki about Santa. That would not only affect Maki's writing process and a BSOD for the remainder of the season, but the morale of Muse would fall apart. If it wasn't averted these 2 Bad Ends would have happened more tragically. She's experienced it multiple times. Example 2 How does Honoka know this? She went back to place a Sweet Potato in Nico's bag in order to befriend and inspire Maki. Nozomi knew Honoka was a Time Lord from the start and saw a "shooting star". Umi says there was never a shooting star to begin with until a second later she hears music. Honoka waits for Kayochin to fall asleep before going back to her role as Gatekeeper of Time. When she returns from fighting anomalies, we see her come back like this: Location? South Dakota. She had to teleport back to Japan. See Honoka's face? Student council president Honoka sure did something amazing in the broadcasting room. Nico was a fan of A-rise and was even sending flowers for them the other members of µ's reaction to it was nice.
