Your failing logic kills a puppy every time you post, think about that as you are responsible for those deaths because I say so.

Kumoko did not order any of the soldiers that showed up at this field. That she was used as excuse does not actually make her responsible.

Put it this way. As an adventurer or even a hero, you go to dungeons and kill monsters for loot and experience points. Do see anything wrong with that? If not, then you've just answered your own question.

P.S. Kumo did not go around killing sick people, but actually healed them. She only killed human and elf combatants so far. So your point doesn't even make sense.

She also kills innocent praying just because she wants to get EXP and Kumoko didn't help one army to win the other she just kills everyone there included people that (probably) pray to her.
About the ambassador even if that is true, Kumoko is still the reason of that war started and she can be more (I don't know) worried about it and not act like anything that happens have nothing to do with her.
About the part of she a monster and because of that she didn't needed feels sorry for the humans she kills, that is not true (and I believe that I hope I don't even need to explain why). must of the normal people (I mean normal to people that has a working conscience) feels empathy when they see another human get hurt or when someone hurting/kill a dog just because he "was boring" even when we see something that isn't life like robots get injured humans can say "that isn't a good thing to do", here Kumoko just kill people and go ahead like nothing just happen. and no Kumoko is not a full monster (and even if she was, that isn't mean she can just go and kill everyone who weaker than her) the facts are is that she has human memory and she accepts that humans are living creatures just like she is, proves that and she can feel other feelings so she not a sociopathic.
About the part of the adventures that kills monsters. normally, they didn't kill monsters to their own fan or because they monsters, and normally they also try not to fight against them plus most of the monsters are more like a dangerous animal and most of them can't even communicate with humans Kumoko is intellectually monster that has a memory of human.

P.S Sorry for my bad English, English isn't my native language so I hope my point is clear.

She explicitly targeted only invading army though. Well, soldiers of both sides died during her battle with Ariel, but Kumoko "killed" them by accidentaly ramming into them by Ariel punch.

Whether she's sorry or not is unrelated matter.

Wait what? When you directly and intentionally kill someone, of course you are responsible for that no matter the excuse

I don't know what happens in the Light Novel but in the Anime Kumoko attack and kill soldiers from both sides.
And agree with me about this even if Kumoko was killing someone by mistake she was not feel bad for it (or take it as the person's that she kill fault). And if we judged Kumoko for her act she can't be could straight person (sorry I don't think "straight" is the world that I mean but I can't find a better one).

episode 22:

plenty of action in Kumoko part, then move to human part where they just talk and talk and talk until the episode end. lol

extra stats from the queen taratect made Kumo a lot tougher. Still at a disadvantage, but she can fight better with the demon lord now.

almost at the final.. but this anime still has not motivated me to buy anything. Well, I guess that's money saved.

No she doesn't. In anime she decided attack invading army because other country has baby vampire and kinda worship her. That's her own words. Sure this episode was mess when it come to directions, but there is still enough exposition to fire what's going on

Regardless whether she is sociopath or something along those lines objectively speaking she protects country that worship her from armies that are invading.

I mean we do know she will join Ariel and massacre lot of innocent people few years later, but in this particular battle she did nothing wrong.

And then she jumps into a battlefield and kills everyone that was there and said she go too hard I was anther the impression that she kills soldiers from both sides.

I can understand you get that impression (direction was mess basically whole episode) , but that's just misinterpreting that scene. Novel is clear about that and anime while not clear still give enough context to figure that out.

Ok. but even if we take this battle aside (although I still think my point is still valid) you can agree with me about what I said about Kumoko?
* please ignore the "sociopathic" part it was a result of not exact translating.

So yeah I don't think she has lot of empathy. That said she joking pretty much non-stop, regardless whether she killing enemies or enemies killing her. Feels like humor is sort of way mantain semblence of sanity (even if not sanity itself) under pressure for her.

When in the anime did she kill innocent people praying to her? Specifically, she was targeting the invading army and protecting the army that was on the side of Sophia. Only when Ariel came did collateral damage occur, that seems mostly caused by Ariel.

My meaning wasn't only the loss of empathy that Kumoko has it also that people see her as more heroic for what she really is, and ignore the bad side in her acts or her personality.
About the humor that is true and you have a point (and good one) although I still think her humor is also a way to make her acts easier to as the watcher/readers to see and take... There is a time that joking around isn't something that you need to do (like juking about how people die when you killed them for example). I didn't say Kumoko needs to be 100% present a serious person but she also doesn't need to be like she acts in the Anime that she takes everything that happens to her (or around her) as a joke plus that could be a good way to develop her character.

Lets say that you are a one armed and one legged person, then a nearby kingdom declares war against where you live because they harbor a "freak", does that make you responsible and evil?

Heroic, huh. I don't think she is. She actually does lot heroic actions, but it feels like it's more of whim then her shouldering great responsibility that comes with great power.

And yes, she doesn't need to joke, but She doesn't need not joke either. At this point it's how she rolls. She was joking when she devoured own siblings. She was joking when she accidentally killed knights that invaded her home and burned it. She joked when she got almost killed and was reduced to only head by Ariel. Random humans killing each other is irrelevant in comparison.

the first battlefield report was hilarious, dealing with the "weather" was gold. the merging of the minds of Ariel and body brain is really funny in her slip ups.

It is the second time that the show is displaying yuri vibe between Shiro and Ariel. The show is attempting to misdirect viewers again.

Problem with these time hopping stories is it removes tension. We know Shun will not get killed, we also know neither Kumoko no Ariel will get killed. I assume Ariel will pound Kumoko into submission, given that she is Ariel's follower later on. As to the whole morality issue, maybe she just doesn't feel much connection to the people of this new world since it IS a new world. If I got isekai'd to a game world (I say game world cuz it has stat screens and stuff like that) I probably wouldn't put much value on life either, it'd feel like a bunch of NPCs. Wouldn't feel real to me. Though of course this is through the lens of an anime; if it was real and I was really there and everything looked as real as our world, I'm sure that would change things. Easy to be blasé when it isn't actually happening, heh.

Really? I didn't pick up on that at all. Just seemed like two chicks trying to kill each other. To what scene do you refer?

But don't get me wrong; I'm totally down for humanoid-version Kumoko x Ariel scenes heh. Kumoko: You're so strong, you kicked my ass. Can you teach me? Ariel: Well my protegé, let me show you a new move; "scissor" lol

I didn't say she didn't do anything good or she perfect monster that going to kill just for her "own fan" or just "because". and I didn't say she going to kill someone when she came boring or treat people just because she has nothing else to do.
I do say that some people that read the Light Novel or watching the Anime make Kumoko something she not. Just because she not going to kill all the life on earth doesn't necessarily mean she the nicest and gentle person around.
