disturbing scenes for me should be:

lolis in sexual/romantic situations with an older looking guy
incestuous scenes between a man and woman (yuricest is fine XP)
YAOI, BL scenes. (I HATE HATE HATE !!!)
animal x human scenes (uugh)

Gore and rape is one thing, but Madoka Magica is made of Deranged Animation. Just about every scene in the supernatural world made me dizzy. Yeah, that show has some of the most psychedelic imagery imaginable since Yellow Submarine orRaggedy Ann and Andy.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if those ketamine fiends at Shaft were influenced by the Greedy scene with Charlotte. Raggedy Ann was produced by the very artsy animator Richard Williams, and we all they seem to take the artsy possibilities of animation very seriously at Shaft.

Spoiler for KARA NO SHOUJO SPOILERS BEWARE EXTREMELY DISTURBING CONTENT: Where to start... Well first, finding the first body (thankfully not depicted)... reading the descriptions of what the crazy murderer is doing. Finding the next body, missing an arm... and having to explore the body with the eyes having been punctured and taken out (Should I mention that we also get a nice view from the murderer, who is still dismembering the girl alive, albeit doped?) especially with the girl staring at you while you stare at her BACK, that's right, the girl's neck was twisted around, and a sick poem put in her mouth... At that point I got an early bad end, in which you witness firsthand how a girl and your character are kidnapped, and you proceed to witness how the girl is tortured and dismembered alive, to the point where she dies. At that point you get your head chopped off. Yep. Uninstalled right there and lost 3 nights of sleep. The damn OST is beautiful, which keeps me looking up the OST on youtube, but damnit I got scarred for life. IF you are interested on what the murderer was doing.... SPOILERS AGAIN The murderer had murdered his sister after finding out that she was selling her body, and in a fit immediately regretted it and chopped her head off. Then he proceeded to kill girls and dismember limbs and a torso, trying to recreate her sister. Did I mention that he was fucking the body? Did I also mention that he wasn't using any kind of refrigeration? Yeah... I lost a little faith in humanity that day. Cheers; Niker

Spoiler for Elfen Lied: Watching those kids beat that poor little puppy to death with a vase. That made me sick to my stomach. Spoiler for Full Metal Alchemist: The Ishbal Massacre in general.
