Beyond a certain level, being faster and able to react faster doesn't help with fighting video games. And of course, Saitama may not know how to play properly (e.g. combos or waiting for counters etc)

When he did some (non-serious) side to side jumps during the hero examination, he left some lasting marks on the ground, and when taken to a serious level, the shock wave was enough to take out Sonic. He hasn't used kicks so far, but it's not hard to imagine his kicks to be deadly.

Since his serious series include side to side jumps, it wouldn't surprise me if he had a serious headbutt attack.

54 of the original is translated now. It's mostly just Garou backstory.

Spoiler for Chapter 55/56 raw observations/comments:

55 explains a lot more about Garou's current situation, introduces the major group of mysterious beings, introduces the 'ugly kid', and Garou has his first interaction with Saitama. (Garou not noticing/ignoring Saitama is a running gag up until about strip 85.) 56 has the return of the House of Evolution doctor and Cyber Ape (now running a takoyaki stand), and Zombieman (aka Sample 66 of the House of Evolution) threatens them and talks to them about the nature of the strength of heroes. Looks to be something about breaking down Limiters, which a brief image of Saitama in his earlier days of training back when he still had hair. I can't read Japanese, so I think the implication is that even if in normal circumstances, Saitama's training shouldn't have had any great result, it still broke down the mental and physical barriers that stood between Saitama and his ridiculous latent power. 56 Also has Garou fighting some mysterious beings, mostly on the basis that he doesn't like being told what to do by anyone (in this case, killing the 'ugly kid').

I feel sorry for Garou. Man, I fucking hate asshole kids. There's also scientific proof that people who are dicks in school days tend to have better life in adult days than the gloomy or bullied kids. Why didn't Garou kill those jerkass kids to make the future a bit different anyway?

^While I agree that those bullies were a bunch of dicks, I sort of have the feeling that Garou was already bordering towards the "dark side" even back then, so to speak. We already had that prior flashback where he was complaining about monsters losing to the heroes, after all.


Still, as I'm sure some others said already, it's interesting how his past basically parallels Saitama's (both were losers for all their lives until they decided to undergo some hardcore training). Looks like Garou took the slower path to godlike strength though, heh.

and Saitama became more apathetic than his former-self, while Garou retains his aggression.

As I said before, Garou final form, became Kame Rider and Saitama final form, became bold. Both of them pushing their body to the limit and Saitama get the worst deal.

By the way there is a game called one piece(forgot what version) where there really is a bug of infinite law kick if you use chopper. And the only thing I could say is "This is a really shitty game. A shit game"
