I ahve doubts on whether watch it nwo or wait for the "uncensored" version, it seems like atx will air it censored, but it also looks like the show might be good enough to watch regardless of that; there is also the off chance that the bd will not add anything in the actual episodes.

Who's my favorite girl? I honestly can't say.... I mean they all have big ones  but no, I'm not basing my decision entirely on that, we've not really gotten a good look at all the girls in an extended period of time, and they did one thing good and that was a near equal amount of screen time for the 5 main girls. Not bad, so I await the character specific eps (if there is any).I'm not gonna lie though, I have a rising temperature whenever I look at black ponytail-chan

I never intended to watch this for the plot in the first place but...wow, that was even more silly than I thought it would be. The way the shinobi skills were depicted (complete with cheesy narration) was pretty funny. They even have transformation sequences
It's actually pretty fun if you don't take it seriously. Futhermore, this first episode delivered what was promised to us: boobs, boobs, and more boobs. So bouncy. In that sense, it's a success. I kinda wish the breast sizes were more varied though. They're pretty much all the same (what are they feeding them in this world?) The characters seem pretty fun. My favorite for now would be the girl in Tron's avatar (forgot her name). She's pretty classy.

Senran Kagura 01 - Ninja, Samurai, Same Thing
A school set in the modern day, yet adheres to the aesthetics and morals of old Japan. Keiji Fujiwara plays a respected teacher. Kaori Mizuhashi is a student who basically runs the place in place of him. Maybe it's because I'm playing the fandisc, but I got some very heavy Appare! Tenka Gomen vibes out of this. At least I'm glad I won't have to wait another three months to see ninja/samurai magical girls. To me, the narrator and transformation sequences aren't signs that the show isn't taking itself seriously. They're just theatrical flourishes in the style of old Japanese theater. It's the way of the jidaigeki world. I liked a lot of what I saw in the first episode. The dynamic between the main five girls was a lot of fun, with Asuka being very ノリノリ. Just the kind of main character I can get into. From the comments, I was expecting a lot more fanservice than there actually was. Even the transformation sequences just strip down to the underwear and keep it at that. There's very little actual nudity. In some ways, that might be more titillating, but it felt like the ninja element was front and center. I expect much more groping from Katsuragi in the future. If this is my fantasy quasi-magical girl show for the season, then I suppose Vivid Red is my sci-fi one. I'm quite satisfied. |

meet asuka who past through a test now arrive at hanzou academy school which is secret ninja school with include a ojou ninja, doobi grab feeling blonde, one eye girl, & clumsy girl all 5 of them main ninja girl group. with master who pop out of smoke bombs tell them to do mission to stop school bullies so on the mission go while asusa got distract dark girl she met on boat. the other 4 main ninja girls battle the bullies but it turned to be bunch of puppets cue ninja battle zone & beat the puppets. while asuka came late with rest wonder going yea the dark girl that asuka meet is part another ninja female group that also behind puppets cue the challenge is on.

Just watched the anime all I can say are:
