Yeah. The first volume came out a bit ago and the second just came out this month (in America). It's in Shojo Beat, so Viz is releasing it.

Kaname kept Yuki's chocolate for Valentine's Day... only hers... though it was quite harsh that the others' chocolate ended up in the trash...

Yuki did allow Zero to drink from her, however since Zero isnt a pure blood he cant change Yuki into a vampire, Kaname however is able to change her into one when he bites her, this is also how Zero became a vampire and it is because of Kaname's blood that Zero's transformation can postponed

as for european release, if it has gotten out in the USA just now it will be a few weeks or a month before we can get ti here, the comic store i buy at allows orders from the USA =D

I thought it was because of yuuki that Zero's transformation got postponed... and it was recently shown that drinking Kaname's blood will postpone his transformation in a longer time, but he hasn't drank it yet

How come no one realized this... If Kaname were to turn Yuuki into a vampire, wont she just become a Level E vampire? and when Yuuki wanted Shizuka to turn her into a vampire and help save Zero, won't she become a level E sooner or later?

I find Kaname very contradicting. He wants to protect Yuuki, yet wanted yuuki become Shizuka's assassin will in turn make her get attacked by the vampire senate. After he said he will protect Yuuki he also said he's doing everything for himself. Why does he need Yuuki I don't understand.

Looks like there is a bunch of mystery around Yuuki, well maybe everything will be revealed next chapter. I also think Yuuki X Kaname is impossible, the only way Yuuki X Kaname will happen is if Zero will die.

i dont believe that Zero drank Yuuki's blood to potpone the transformation, it could be a small part but im not sure *been a while sine she read it* however it was because Zero's body was rejecting the 'blood tablets' that Yuuki came to the decision of giving Zero her blood, he wouldve died in the end if he hadnt

I think Kaname realized that and that is what stopped him from biting Yuuki... But, Yuuki not knowing the consequence is what bothers me, since, she has a living proof who is in fact the one she's trying to save, Zero.

What is Zero to her is one of my biggest question(and Zero's). The way she would do anything for zero not to become level E, even as far as turning herself to a vampire is what bugs me.

I've been recently reading Vampire Knight and I'm loving every minute of it. Currently somewhere in volume 6. And to answer a question I noticed discussed above earlier...

Spoiler for Yuuki and E Level Vampires:

If Kaname was to bite Yuuki and turn her into a vampire, she would not become an E Level because all she would have to do is drink some of Kaname's blood since he's her master. Same with Zero and Shizuka, except that Zero refused to drink her blood so he has no way out of it.

Although I really liked what I read of this so far the depressing nature of the two main characters is a bit hard to take in. I mean I'm used to love triangles having at least one of the love interests to be depressing, serious and silent. Not both of them. Okay, Kaname talks a bit more then Zero but not by a lot. :P

Yeah I read the first 2 or so volumes and I like this series. I just have a question: do they give an explanation on why Yuki's blood is more desirable than any other blood? If not, I'm sure they will and it'll be important.

ok i think this might cleer things up for you the if yuki gets turned in to a vampire by Kaname if she drank his blood she would not turn in to a level E (a class D vampire...zero) would not turn level E if they drank there creators blood (the one that turn then in to a vampire ) frequently that is why zeros brother has not turned in to a level E yet. at lest thats what a i got out of it (I reread the hole vampire night chapters today chapter 1 to 32) and yes i some times have a "manga marothon!" were i will read a hole seres in one day

and to the other Q&A kaname did not want yuki to go after Shizuka. Suizuka whanted yuki to go after Kaname for she is the only one to get close anofe to do it.

Considering the matter of the love triangle it's obvious that Zero is going to win. It's so obvious so I hope that Kaname will win. Maybe give Zero an honorable death protecting Yuki or maybe even his brother? Sibling relations are grerat. And it's not like I dislike Zero or anything, one of my favourit themes of all times are vampires struggleing against blood drinking and insanity.......but please....do something about the love triangle, maybe put in someone that seems honestly drawn towards Zero? Wasn't there a glasses clad girl that wanted to give him her chocolate but he didn't take it?

I'm looking forward to see a more clear description of the "world" they live in.
But I wish they would set up clearer "rules" around what vampires can do, and can not do.
Are they imortal? If that case then to what extent?
They can be out in the sun. For how long, does it have any side effects? They drink blood. How often do they need to drink blood?
They seem to hace a strong desire to drink human blood instead of taking those tablets. What stops them from sneak revolting?
How on earth is the school going to manage to keep up the mask much longer?

Just a quick note to all those who love Vampire Knight. It has been announced that it will be animated. Nothing else so far, but I'm happy!
