So Aspros was a bit evil at begining, I don't understand. When I read chapter 153 and this summary, I don't understand Aspros' mind. He manipulated Deuteros from the begining? He is the evil!
Perhaps he becomes evil because the pope didn't chose him as his successor?

Aspros and Deuteros go to Star Hill, that's why they know a lot of things about the pope and Athena's blood.

So Deuteros receive Genrô Maô Ken 2 times now... Hey I hope Deuteros is stronger than that...

Genro Mao ken seems to be a hidden technique banned from the Sanctuary rather than a typical Gemini blow. Okada started to dig in that way, when he made Saga use it on Shura, telling that this a blow "that only a Pope can use".
So Teshi seemed to have chosen to make Genro Mao Ken one of the Sanctuary secrets that only a Pope can know, alongside Athena's cloth or whatever.

Just finished reading the latest translated chapter which was 143 and I must say,

if it wasn't for the fact that this is a prequel to the original saint seiya, thus meaning the earth is saved, i would have though Hades might win this war. Athena's saints are like droping like flies. At the rate things are going you would think Hades would probably win. It's like for every dead specter, ther are like 10 to 20 saints who die. With the exception from Libra Dohko and Ares Shion, Every time saw a gold saint I think how long before they die? I know it's war and there are casualties on both sides but it's like dang, Hades' army has got it easy. LOL

Seems like Aspros becomes evil when he knows that Pope has intention to choose Sisyphe as the successor...more correctly speaking, I would assume all the hypes that he has received has made him become an arrogant individual...and Pope decides to choose Sisyphe over him is the last straw to make him become an evil guy...

Given that he has much higher reputation than Sisyphe (I assume)..a sudden death from the Pope will let other saints choose Aspros as a successor...so it somewhat makes sense but I have no idea why Aspros thinks that his bro is strong enough to take out the Pope...I have trouble understanding this part

Yeah when we saw a Gold Saint, I think this too, about how long before they die. But Hades' army lost a lot of specters too (like Minos, Garuda, Behemoth, Necromancian, Dullahan, Deep, Thanatos, Hypnos, Dream god...).

Okay, Kurumada has depicted one already but between Shaka who was facing 3 gold Saints and those Gold Saints who let them trapped in the Tenbu Horin because they didn't plan to kill him in the first place, the mystery was still on.

But now it's a real 2vs2 hahahahahahaha !

Looks like Aspros though that Manigoldo, as Sage's student was an other favorite for the Pope's succession alongside Sypshe... Manigold as a Pope.

By talking about Deuteros as his "perfect doll" Aspros seems to have prepared that rebellion since the very beginning and manipulated Deuteros feelings when he promised him to release him from his mask. That's why he let Deuty learn all his techniques and grasp a power that equals his, a power which was to become one of the strongest among the Gold Saints.

BUT... he did learn about the Genromaoken and planned to use it against Sage (and like Shion 250 years later, that monkey suspected Aspros' soul to not be that "clean") at the very end... when he was put away from the Pope succession.

We can think that he was evil since the very beginning but planned to take the throne "fairly" while preparing a push using his brother "in case of" he would fail.

But I really can't understand about Aspros became bad, only because Sage wanted to chose between Manigoldo and Sisyphe (in Aspros' mind). Some people says that Aspros was evil at the begining, he used his brother from the begining...
I think it's a better explanation... Or perhaps, everything isn't explained... But it's strange that a Gold Saint is really super evil at the begining...

I love the moment when Asmita appears . He's cool. When I read volume 4, I don't really like him but here... Sage/Asmita VS 2 who can use Galaxian Explosion?

About Deuteros, I think he will go out of Sanctuary because he had a bad experience in it. But anyway, how Kagaho know that Deuteros is on Kanon's island?

I don't think Manigoldo was a candidate to be pope. The reason why Aspros said he was prepared to fight him was because he was Sage's student. From my understanding, Sisyphus was the only candidate to become pope.

You are Gemini? I think it's cool to have a "long flashback arc" but why only for Gemini . Ok there is Yuzuriha's past on her Gaiden, but we don't have so much development about Gold Saints finally. If Shiori want to extend Lost Canvas, don't make too much fight, but create some flashback!

Perhaps we will have a flashback about Regulus, it can be interesting. I don't like this Gold Saint but a flashback can be really cool! Perhaps I will like him after that!
