1. She is the vice-chancellor of Hexagone Française, one of the most strongest characters that appeared until now and at the same time she is the Queen of the werewolves. Reene de Garuu is her name as the queen of the werewolves. And she is the owner of the ULTRAEASY too (forget this last sentence, only Toori can understand that ).

2. She is Anne d'Autriche (Anne of Austria)

3. Well, one of the main reasons is that Toori declared war to the world. Other one is because they are in an age where wars are normal and the last one involves the apocalypse and how this will be avoided. All this together triggers the future wars.

*I'll be using the translations of the link here (the post above yours). Just the most important ones until the third volume.

- Volume 1:

Honda Tadakatsu/Kazuno/Matsudaira Motonobu = They all died to pass the message about the Apocalypse to the world. Because ether vein(s?) in Mikawa got out of control, Mikawa "exploded" and that's it. In the fifth episode you'll understand how awesome was this.

- Volume 2:

Nobody important died. Well, there is a character that "dies", but it's not important.

- Volume 3:

Before writing, I'll say that the deaths here are one of the main reasons that a lot of fans (including myself) want to see at least a third season of Horizon. I would say that it's not the best thing to know about this now, but...

1) Anne d'Autriche (Anne of Austria) = In the world of Horizon, Anne was the little sister of the Louis XIV. She died because she wanted to protect the people she loved (of Hexagon Francaise) and the new generation (Musashi). This happened because the enemy, the Hashiba forces from P.A.ODA (Oda Nobunaga is the leader) used a "bomb of ether".

2) Matsunaga Hisahide = The senpai of Nobunaga in "destroying", died to allow Musashi to go on. He destroyed the ship he was in and that's it. He did that because he found two idiots that he could trust the world (Nobunaga as the one who destroys, and Toori as the one who builds).

3) Minamoto Yoshitsune = She already appeared in the anime (first character to appear). She died? because of the same "bomb of ether". It's not certain if she really died (I don't want to believe in this), so I won't comment much on this.

4) Satomi Yoshiyori (Second) = He died in the place of the Marga Naruze: First of all you have to know that Marga has the name of Naruse Masayoshi, a person who died in the battle of Mikatagahara. And they were "remaking" this battle, so the enemies requested that Marga should die. What happened in the third volume was that Yoshiyori took this name and died in her place (one of the best scenes in Horizon until now).He did that entrusting everything about Satomi to Toori and to prevent other tragic deaths happening from now on.

5. She is a normal (?) classmate that can't (?) leave her room. She is a mesterious character for now so, there isn't much info on her. But as I already said in another post, Azuma will get a bigger role later and with this Miriam will have an big importance too. In the normal days she is the Azuma's "tsundere"

6. Yup.

7. Hexagone Française (her father is from there).

8. She is a very important character since the start of the series and because of that she'll be alive until the grand finale. After this, who knows what will happen.

First of all, you have to know that in the Horizon world most of the "countries" are a mix of a Family/Clan of the Sengoku period + A country/countries from all around the world. In the case of the India Faction we have: Houjou clan + India. That's why the leader of the India Faction can be either someone from the Houjou clan or someone from the India of that time. In this particular case, the leader is from the Houjou clan (the only character that appeared until now). Well, when we get info about the characters from there I'll put it here

And Noriki will probably do what I wrote on the other answer. Toori has already chosen a girl. The same can be said for other lucky guys...

Yes, she isn't one of the girls that have feelings for him. And there isn't any sign of romance until (?) now. She gets along pretty well with Masazumi because they already knew each other, as for the other folks she is just one more member of that class. So, we can say that she is in a good position there (at least more than some guys).

I have a question, would appreciate it if someone could answer. What relationship does Azuma and Miriam have? Is there any romantic interest between the two of them? And what is this "child" they have?

Why do characters keep inserting the word "judge" into their conversations. Right now I'm assuming it means something like "affirmative".

Is this series considered harem? Aoi doesn't seem to be your typical male lead. So far he doesn't really seem to get much screen-time (at least in the anime). He already has an OTP from the start. Only two or three of the twelve girls in the main cast seem to really show any interest in him, and from what I've read the jury seems to be out on if they're romantically interested or all they want is the support him.

Also a couple of questions about Kimi:
Does she have an ability? I read earlier that she's one of the girls who gets a special outfit, but we haven't seen her demonstrate any skills. All she does during the Oriotorai chase scene is troll Neit.
Is she really a bro-con or just a sister who cares about her brother and happens to have the same type of personality. She seems to me like more of an "anyone-con" if you know what I mean.

They are like a "couple" doing love comedy while the others are doing war/negociating. After the child (his/her "name": ???) appears it'll make more sense.

From what I remember we only get to know that he is a feudal lord in Hexagone Française (and that he really loves her wife ). I don't think there was anything saying that he was an automata...

I think that he is a "normal" human (I really need to confirm this), except that he was in a high social position and was even one of the Anne's friend.

It depends on what you consider as a harem. If more than two girls like one character is harem to you, then yes, it's a harem for Toori. If more than two girls like one character, but that character already has chosen one girl (not one that likes him btw), then no, it's not a harem.

Kimi does have an ability. We'll get to see that animated in the episode 9 or 10. And she is a true bro-con, that's why Naomasa said in the third episode that she (Kimi) was going to suffer the most if Toori's confession went good.

I'm quite intrigued about Miriam's name. She scribbled her name on her dormitory room as "Miriam Poqou", which is quite an unusual name (the reason why her name stays as "Polk" in the wiki).

When I was looking for more info on Miriam, the article on a Kyoukaisen atwiki about Miriam says that there are clues that involve flipping her surname or her name.

I don't know what that means, since the reversed of "poqou" — "nobod" — doesn't give out any clues by itself.
