The action for Evol does look much better now than it was for Aquarion, looks like they took the lessons from Macross F to heart. Now I'm officially hyped for this series

HELLS YES! We don't have to wait until the Spring season '12 for this. And no complaints about an episode 1 and 2 back-to-back special.

So the new Aquarion forces are managed by a church?

And if there were any doubts left that Apollo is back, a certain few quote words in that trailer will put them to rest.

No more Takuma Terashima, the seiyuu of Apollo? Yuuki Kaji sounds hotblooded enough with the yell for now. Seems like Kagura didn't turn out to be Apollo as well with Kouki Uchiyama.

I think I was more stunned that the trailer didn't completely offend than anything. Nice showcase of action, decent Yoko Kanno music (though I still wish she'd go back to orchestral and drop this whole pop trend)....characters......remains to be seen, but not really holding my breath on that front.

Surprised this will be an hour long premier. Really wondering if this can sell well considering how the first season did...

EDIT: Oh, the hour special is compilation of episodes 1 and 2, not an actual single episode like Fate/Zero.

It's the opening theme man... more than likely the score will be as orchestral as Aquarion.... besides her last work in MF had to include jpop songs for obvious reasons...
