Just finished watching the episode. I'll say excellent first episode I especially love the pacing definitely expecting more out of the second season

DTB is back!! Excellent first ep -- great art, likable main lead, great setup to intro Hei (what happened to you man!?), but damnit why'd it have to end there? I want ep 2 now! also, very nice ED theme -- different from ABS usual stuff, but very nice nonetheless.

First half was incredibly boring, but once the crazy stuff kicked in then it got exciting again. I'm hoping the new girl has some latent powers and doesn't become a damsel in distress.

Since there's 1 OVA episode on each even numbered volume, there will be 8 volumes of this series altogether. From what I see here on the DTB official website: http://www.d-black.net/package/index.html and http://www.d-black.net/package/pack02.html, I guess the complete series of season 2 will be spread out like this:

Volume 1: Episodes 1 & 2
Volume 2: Episode 3 & OVA episode 1
Volume 3: Episodes 4 & 5
Volume 4: Episode 6 & OVA episode 2
Volume 5: Episodes 7 & 8
Volume 6: Episode 9 & OVA episode 3

It says that the OVA episodes will be side-stories that tell of what happened to Hei and Yin between "The Black Contractor" and "Gemini of the Meteor".

A pity about the super fast guy, he seemed like he'd have been a fun fellow.

Somehow I was under the impression that the false sky thing was a local phenomenon and not a global one, so I was a little surprised that people in Russia could see April's star fall.

Am I the only one who thinks the agent April's working with looks like Cornelius Alba from Kara no Kyoukai?

Awesome first episode and it looks like Mina and Genma are going into action in the next episode, can't wait. Also, for anyone who wants to read the "Shikoku no Hana" manga, you can read it in onemanga. It's really good and I really hope it will bridge the first and second season so we can find out why Hei turn out like that.

whoa, mind blowing episode. They're already killing characters and it's just getting started. I definitely like the new Hei; he's much more colder and ruthless than the previous season. This is probably the best show to air this season. waiting for the next episode is gonna be hell

A long and peaceful introduction then an eventful ending. The Suou(the girl) sure have it bad. And it seems Hei tqakes the role of anti-hero/villian more in this season. If a serious twist won't happen it seems Hei killed the girl's father. Sure a great way for being on good terms with her..

Misaki that chased over Hei's whereabouts, met a person that called herself as "Madam", who is accompany by mysterious twins. Madam tell Misaki about "Record of Mitaka", a mysterious book that is occupied with certain mechanism that have the piece of information she seeks for. She told Misaki the keyword to solve the mystery is "Izanami".

The script of episode 4-5 will be done by Okada Mari (*cough*CANAAN*cough*) instead of Yoshino Hiroyuki.

So Shou survived the first episode, I thought that the preview pictures where trying to throw another curveball and she would be dead by the end of the first episode. And I noticed that in the very begginning of the episode (right before Shion gets whacked with the star) that the sniper rifle is next to Shou, kinda an odd thing to carry out on a family star-gazing trip, no?

Surprisingly this episode was the more straight forward than I expected. Nothing was as cryptic as last season which is a nice. The BGM was also good, to my relief. Overall a good start. Will be watching the sub soon to comment further.
