We already know that while Mikuru has the boobs, Haruhi has the butt since the last Endless Eight.

And about the extent of Haruhi's reset. I wonder if she only resets matter and not time itself. Or are Data Entities totally outside of time and reality of this universe.

They didn't show Kyon's face because it wasn't Kyon's reaction that the director and/or script writer wanted us to see, but Koizumi's. We read from Koizumi's own expression what Kyon's reaction was, as that expression would be a response to Kyon's. Basically, what we saw was how disappointed Koizumi was that Kyon didn't have the hots for him.

How is that symbolism? Something in a series can't be symbolic of something that is potentially happening outside of it's scope and beyond the fourth wall.

She's had it for longer. A quick review of quite a few of the illustrations makes it pretty clear that someone took sir mix allot to heart.

That's because Haruhi is extremely physically active. Give's her a more toned/athletic body...I'm not sure if Mikuru HAS any muscle tone.

If one was to give the both of them full body massages (nothing wrong about that is there?), the body texture for both of them would be respectively described as "Firm" and "soft"...and that would be that mans last words cause everyone would lynch him.

More detailed impressions later, but for now:

-As others have noted, KyoAni seems to have noticed that the fanservice in previous episodes disproportionately featured the female characters, and has taken steps to be more 'equal opportunity' w.r.t. gender.
-The music (especially the piano during the reveal) set the scene excellently. This episode had a distinct 'Twilight Zone' feeling, thanks in no small part to the music.
-I understand to a certain extent why they redid the events of the last episode again, but I wish it could have gone faster.
-If they're willing to take three episodes for this story, imagine how long they'll take for Disappearance, Sighs, or Snow Mountain (they probably won't get to Intrigues).

The idea of the String Theory always had skeptics, but it has continued to progress and recent years unified into the M-Theory.

Its being studied by top scientists like Stephen Hawking and Michio Kaku. Its one of the main reasons why the Large Hadron Collider is built, the LHC itself is needed to do the experiments and proof the String Theory. They haven't have full solid proof because they need the apparatus, which is the LHC.

this ep was full of win because of all the new outfits for the girls and the moe level of haruhi and mikuru. plus the constant koizumi in kyon's face was win!! i really liked this episode and look foward to the next episode even if it will be another repeat of the theme..

I like to think it was Gundamized a bit in that regard. Though maybe it's more that Haruhi is one of those rare series by them where the male characters (who do exist in this one) are given equal or perhaps even sometimes more screen time then the female characters and hence the fanservice also comes across as more equal by default.

Though personally I relate more to Itsuki then I do to K-On. The way he says things that are out of the ordinary and smiles like nothing is wrong in order to throw people off reminds me of yours truly.
