Looking good, and sounding great. That small bit of music already made me very excited to see what Naoki Sato has in store for us with the full score.
Also, funny it's starting 7/7 and they have Nana as the main character (and narrator). Probably a simple coincidence, but still funny in a very curious way.

It was extremely short, so I don't see how you could expect much. As for the "generic monster", 95% of all media (movies, shows, video games) featuring an opposing factor for the protagonist(s) has generic designs for the people/creatures fulfilling said role. Sorry. Better get used to it if you haven't already. Studios have time and money to burn. Not every monster is gonna be a masterpiece on the level of professional concept art, y'know.

Perhaps they're relying on the combined power of reputations of the studios/people involved and the popularity of the Blood franchise itself to do most of the impressing for them? :B That aside, at least the animation is nice and the character designs are attractive. I think that's mainly what most people care about (before they get into judging the story content, of course).

Haha, that was short. Well I like it, it's plain and simple. By watching this you know what to expect, and that is good character design, good voice acting, good animation, katana swinging, killing monsters and lots of blood. Yup, everything is there.
