At this point, I'd almost consider Hanyuu as a higher echelon of witch. Along with time manipulation and all her other powers, fundamental kakera generation/alteration also seem to be within her power. To be honest, all of the weirdness in Rei and Kira can easily be explained simply by saying that Hanyuu is bored. This doesn't surprise me at all, considering her nature, plus the fact that she knows she can mess with Rika with only the most minor of consequences.
