[Manga] Chapter 387 Discussion

Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant part of the chapters. This stands for pics and direct translations.
Summaries are ok, crops of pics are ok as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

Itachi (makes a) kage bunshin then, a snake comes from sasuke's CS
徐々にサスケは追い詰められる。
Sasuke is eventually cornered
そして拘束されサスケの眼をイタチが取ろうとする。
Itachi binds sasuke and attempts to take his eye
サスケの叫び声で次週へ。
ends with Sasuke screaming

w00t first post. So I wonder what we can expect this chapter to bring us? Perhaps more on teh E-Mangekyou sharingan? Personally I want more Pein myself but I can see that these next chapters will be Sasuke heavy for a while

I think this next chapter will be the best we will get to see who Tobi really is. He may be Obito and if Sasuke has the power to defeat Itachi.
I don't think he does personally because its always like this in the beginning of every fight the first attacker always loses.
I think Itachi may get his hands on Sasuke's eyes.
And Naruto will kill Itachi because he took his best friends eye's.

Madara and Shodaime knew each other in a war, they had the same idealism, but finally Madara realized the fate of his clan, and he started to become evil.

初代火影は苦しく諌止して、阻止することができません。兄の同じに親密な２人のよう、昔の友達 、生死の相闘 。失敗のちに、数十年、マダラ皆は復讐にいて。
初代火影苦苦劝阻，还是没有阻止。和兄弟一样亲密的两人，昔日的好友，生死的相斗。失败之后， 数十年斑都在 复仇。
Shodaime bitterly persuaded Madara but it didn’t work., the two brother-like relationship fellows, good friends, fought each other. After he lost, in 10years, Madara was planning for revenge.

イタチ「友情をみなす恨み、これはうちは一族の運命です、これは汚れた一族です」
鼬「把友情认为仇恨，这就是宇智波一族的命运，这就是肮脏的一族」
Itachi: taking friendship as hatred, that’s Uchiha’s fate, that dirty clan

イタチ「仮に私はあなたの両眼を奪い取、あなたはすぐに苦痛を経歴する、あなたとナルト、マダラと初代火影 と同様です。私を殺したの後、あなたはすぐにどんな道を行くか？あなたの生存の意義は復讐することです、だ から私を殺したの後、なかった生存の意義であるあなた、うちは一族の邪にあなたの体が現にいる 」
鼬「即使我不夺取你双眼，你也将经历痛苦，你和鸣人就像斑和初代火影。你杀了我之后，你将走什 么道路？你的 生存意义在于复仇，所以杀了我之后，没有生存意义的你，宇智波一族的邪恶在你身上体现。」
Itachi: Even though I didn’t take your both eyes, you will still live in pain, Naruto and you are just like Madara and Shodaime. After you kill me, what path are you gonna take?
Your existence is only for revenge, so after you kill me, your life is nothing, and the evil Uchiha hiding inside of you will occur.

サスケ「あれは以後の事です！」
佐助「那是以后的事！」
Sasuke: I’ll save it for later (That’s my problem)

イタチ「ナルトの友情、あなたはとっくに忘れた、ただし彼まだ兄になることを。戦闘のちに、初 代火影はまだ マダラを寻していると同様です、友達を探索して同様です。あなたとマダラ同様の邪悪、これは変 わることがで きない事実です。」
鼬「鸣人的友情，你忘记了，但他现在还把你看成兄弟。就像战斗之后，初代火影还寻找斑的下落， 就像寻找朋友 一样。你和斑一样邪恶，这是无法改变的事实」
Itachi: You have forgotten your friendship with Naruto, while he still considers you as a brother. Even after the fight, Shodaime continued tracking Madara, as if searching a friend, You and Madara are both evil, this fact cannot be changed.

イタチ「あなたに目的が活きていなくて、邪にあなたが現にいる、あなたの昔の友達を傷害する。 」
鼬「让你没有目的活着，体现邪恶，伤害你的昔日朋友」
Itachi: Letting you live purposeless life, becoming evil and hurting your old friend

イタチ「及ばなくてあなたは瞳に私を与える サスケ！」
鼬「不如将你的眼睛给我，佐助！」
Itachi: You’d better give your eyes to me Sasuke…!

サスケ「……」
佐助「……」

Even with Sasuke's new Jutsu "Pheonix With In" I don't think he will have the power to defeat Itachi, or he may have the power to defeat Itachi but not Madarra. Either Madarra will kill Sasuke or Itachi will kill Sasuke this I'm sure of. Because Sasuke isn't as smart as he used to be. I think that Orochimaru is still waiting in that sack thing behind Sasuk's left eye for a reason. So that way when Madarra takes Sasukes Body Orochimaru can become immortal and invinsible. I think Oro let Sasuke win that battle because he doesn't want Sasuke or Itachi he want's Madarra's body and Sharingan. Or he may know that the only way to become Immortal is to have the winners body so that's why he took Sasuke to be sure that if Sasuke won he could still gain the power of Immorality and if Itachi wins and gives the carcass to Madarra then he can still have the power of Immortailty.
So I don't think that Orochimaru is gone yet. I also think that he and Kabuchaimaru are in this plan together still. To over throw the hidden leaf village and become Hokage.

But I think after seeing the picture and Sasuke on the ground, with Itachi's hand over his eye.
I think he may have suceeded in taking one of Sasukes eye's.
I think that Sasuke may actually give into his brother.

No Sasuke can't lose his eyes if he does manga will be ruined for me as main characters will no longer have Main Character Syndrome a.k.a MCS unless....SASUKE'S BEEN TAKING PILLS FOR MCS !!! j/k but I seriously think that somehow Sasuke will end up with Naruto victorious in his pursuit of revenge and then they both go to get Madara...also one question is the 4th and Naruto related to the 1st and 2nd in anyway.

It would be very cool if Itachi gouged out Sasuke's eyes and left him blind, (his badass factor would instantly skyrocket again) but I also doubt it'll happen.

It the spoiler pic is for real, then Itachi used probably used genjutsu to paralyze Sasuke so he could take his eyes. Oro did more or less the same thing when he tried to take Sasuke's body only to wind up trapped himself. The way things have been going in Sasuke's fights lately, I wouldn't be surprised if the tables are turned yet again and Itachi ends up the one who is caught.

Nope. If he was, Tsunade would know about it, being granddaughter of Shodai

Since Itachi seems to be so desperate to get Sasuke's eyes what if Sasuke gouged out his own eyes just so Itachi couldn't have his eyes (of course there's like a .01% chance of that happening.) and then after he beats Itachi while being completely blind. I think that would be interesting. It might not be as a bad idea as you think because the mangekyo seems like it would be useless against someone who is blind.

They are nothing without their precious eyes
But seriously, everything for the Uchiha is about those eyes, that's so narrow minded that they are destined to lose sooner or later. The manga is currently too much eye focused, we had sharingan, now also rinnegan, all about the shitty eyes. I would be cool if Naruto had a not eye related bloodline from his mother which can be stronger than all these stupid eye bloodlines.

genjutsu are no more in this fight, sasukes sharingan can see it all as itachi said...
