If you don't like it, what are you going to do? Take a train and spend around the same cost, take around 5x longer, and hope it actually gets you to where you want to go?

Maybe the airlines have finally gotten to that point where they won't take their passenger's sh*t anymore. It is getting like that in retail were you want to just start tossing people out because they've become self important asses.

Or it's just customer service that is just horrible in the US to begin with. At the same time, there are plenty of stories about poor service coming from the likes of British Airways and Air Canada. But you never quite hear that kind of stuff with first-class airlines like Fly Emirates, All Nippon Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, and Lufthansa.

The root of the problem is always on people who know nothing about delivering first-class customer service. With that regard, airlines deserve to be called out for allowing shit personnel mentality to become rampant when something like that happens. If some individuals can't work in such environment, it's simple: get off the plane, and return your uniform because you don't deserve it.

I'd be more curious about which ones are "private" and which ones are government run/subsidized. I'm pretty sure Fly Emirates is in the latter, and I wouldn't be surprised if the better ones skewed that way due to compliance regulations.
