Finally watched The Amazing Spider-Man.

What a great movie. I expected this movie to fail but it impress me very much. I enjoyed Andrew's portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider-Man more than Maguire's. (Sorry Tobby.)

Saw it. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed it better than the previous movie, though that was expected, but not as much as the 2nd.

One of the standout parts to me surprisingly was Peter/Gwen's relationship. When people said they were adorable together, they really meant it.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Bit of an update for casting in the sequel:

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone will return in their respective roles. Marc Weber will return as the director. Supposedly Shailene Woodley ('Descendents') will play Mary Jane Watson. The new villain will be Electro, and Jamie Foxx has been offered the role. And finally, Dane DeHaan (of 'Chronicle' fame) has been chosen to play Harry Osborn.

Jamie Foxx sounds good to me. I look forward to the next movie.

Harry Osborn? Yes please, hopefully we don't get another Power Ranger.

Hey, the Goblin's green armor looks cooler than a bright red T-shirt the original Goblin wears . Also, it's supposed to be a military armor just like Batman’s costume in TDK. It’s just, due to his deranged mind, the Goblin painted it bright metallic green. You can't blame crazy man for doing crazy things.

^ I was actually referring to the one Harry wore.

Oddly enough I'm fine with the one from the first movie.

Hmm...it's funny. People (movie critics and fans alike) always mentioned the Power Ranger element when they saw the first Goblin suit. Many of them don't have a problem with Harry's costume as it looks like a simple suit.

Well, sorry for misinterpreting your post as your opinion is pretty uncommon. But hey, I'm glad I found someone who actually like the Green Goblin suit!

Purple, not red, and it was a tunic!

Sorry 'bout that. Just want to make it simpler . Okay, metallic green armor is better than reddish purple tunic, then .

Spectacular Spiderman Goblin is ofcourse superior.

Can't expect anything like that, though.

Academy Award winning actor Chris Cooper has signed on to play Norman Osborn (the Green Goblin...though it is unclear if the Green Goblin will appear in the next film). In an inspired choice, Paul Giamatti has been cast as the Rhino. (Felicity Jones has also signed on for a still undisclosed role.)

So far, this franchise is becoming a who's who of experienced and impressive actors. Here's hoping the next film can actually live up to the potential of its cast and crew...

It's gotta be either Betty Brant or Felicia Hardy.

Betty Brant was also my guess (Elizabeth Banks plays her in the Raimi trilogy). Felicia is simply too big a character for an already jam-packed film (then again, this would be her film premier, and since she was supposed to be played by Anne Hathaway in Raimi's 4th Spiderman film, this could be a good time to reintroduce the character).

Apparently, the sequel will use a different Spidey costume?

Not sure what to say without a full-body picture, though.

If it gets rid of the white sole shoes, then thank god!

So move along, nothing to see here, just a fan with a nice paint job on the tank of his bike.

fortytwooftwelve adds that the movie is filming just 30 yards away, making this just an odd coincidence.

Metalera adds that this image of what appears to be the same bike was posted online back in September, long before the film went into production. So there we go, it appears that it's just a coincidence and we won't be seeing this bike in the film.
